Congressman: Town hall protesters committing 'political terrorism' @ 2:22 pm by Michael O'Brien
Protesters who have interrupted town hall meetings are guilty of committing "political terrorism," one Democratic lawmaker said Wednesday.
Rep. Baron Hill (D-Ind.), a centrist Democrat, said that he can tolerate political differences, those who have shouted down congressmen and senators at town hall meetings across the country in recent weeks have taken things to a different level.
"I don't mind people disagreeing with you, but just to blow up a meeting is an act of political terrorism," Hill told the Louisville Courier-Journal.
"They have only one purpose in mind and that's to blow up the meetings that are being held and that serves no one, ladies and gentlemen," he said of the protesters, according to WISH-TV. That outlet is also reporting that Republicans have demanded an apology from Hill over the terrorism words.
Those comments come after lawmakers have had to fend off the highly-publicized interruptions from constituents during the August recess, reflecting some dyspepsia over the healthcare reform plans before Congress.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said earlier Wednesday that the town hall meetings are part of the healthcare battle, which he characterized as a "fight for the heart and soul of the United States of America."
Meanwhile, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) said that he nationally televised town hall, which included unfavorable outbursts, was "terrific."
The only persons that are terrorized are the politicians.

political terrorists
I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that Rep. Baron Hill (D-Ind.) is not really much of a centris.
I would wager that he is one of them Blue Dogs In Name Only (BDINOs), that only vote against Pelosi and the Democrat leadership when they have permission because it will not effect the outcome.
Wait a minute....we can’t call Al Qaeda terrorists but a Congressman can call us terrorists? What’s up with that?
They’re throwing stuff against the wall to see what will stick and then go with it. Seems the Nazi thing hasn’t worked so very much, so now political terrorist is launched.
What a puss.
“I don’t mind people disagreeing with you, but just to blow up a meeting is an act of political terrorism,”
hmm maybe he is thinking about the weathermen blowing up things? whats next, first the dems paint swasticas on their signs then have one of their plants have a obama hitler sign, will they blow up their own offices next? these people are sick.
Girlieman alert.
Whenever Congress considers passing Unonconstitutional legislation (social security, medicare, socialized medicine,) it commits political terrorism.
The only noise I’ve heard at different meetings is when we catch them in a lie or they don’t answer the question.
1. Swastika-carrying
2. Astroturf
3. Brown-shirts
4. Nazi
5. Angry mobs
6. Terrorists
7. UnAmerican/Unpatriotic
8. Racists
Just a few off the top of my head. I am sure there are lots more....seems like Democrats don't have nice things to say about the 52% of people who oppose their agenda. Can you really call most of America all these names and expect to win an election????
This clown is in a 50-50 District, and the Democrat only wins if they turn out the Indiana University Student vote in Bloomington.
It’s been the scene of several contentious and razor close contests in the last few years.
The LAST thing this guy wants is footage of him arguing with his voters to get around.
If they can call patriotic Americans terrorists for asserting their Constitutional rights we can call them fascist Hitlerites. We will be correct and they will still be wrong, wrong, wrong.
Their goal is to criminalize the opposition.
As the left ALWAYS does.
