The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that a poll sponsored by supporters of Nevada Republican party chairwoman Sue Lowden shows that she leads Harry Reid 48 to 42 in a matchup:
Pollster Todd Vitale said the most telling numbers might be the ones related to Reid.
In three Reid-related categories -- image, approval and whether they would vote to re-elect -- respondents gave the senator a thumbs down. Just 39 percent viewed Reid favorably, and 34 percent said they would vote to re-elect him.
"All of those are very, very telling pieces of information," said Vitale, who has been a pollster for 15 years. "I've never seen an incumbent with numbers this bad who hadn't had some scandal."
Nevada politics are foreign to me. Does anyone know if he has been challenged before and if we are looking at good news here?
One suspects that our treasured seasoned citizens in the great state of Nevada are feeling muted and insulted by Mister Reid, who recently said re socialized "medicine" takeover protesters... It's really simple: they're taking their cues from talk show hosts, Internet rumor-mongerers ... and insurance rackets...
Our older citizens are seeing for themselves that Obama"care" is a prescription for a one-way trip to the cemetery.
They have learned to fear Mister Reid, and to believe nothing of his softly spoken lies.
.
ACORN will make up the differece. There are plenty of illegals there now.
Someone needs to tell Harry that questions regarding Obama’s eligibility to serve as President are legitimate. When Obama spends over a million dollars in legal fees to hide documents that challenge his natural born status, that tells you something.
Be still, my heart. Let’s not get excited too soon. The best scenario would be for the challenger to lay low in the weeds and then jump out on election day and bite him in the butt and crush him at the polls. Please, dear God, let it be so.
Harry Reid was narrowly defeated by John Ensign in 1998. He “found” some late ballots on an Indian reservation to win.

How Sue Lowden got the Nevada GOP’s groove back
By only 6? He should be down by 20 or more! With all the stuff going on now and the sweetheart real estate deals, he should be almost out of the running.
This is great news, I hope it lasts. But don’t count your chickens. When dingy harry gets his high speed rail from L. A. to Vegas, the sheeple in Nevada will think he’s the second coming.
This is fundamentally why the Dims hated G.W. Bush so much. He dared to not let them steal an election from him. They could not believe it and as we have paid more attention since then we have seen these thefts in Washington state, Minnesota etc.
You you what happens when an ACORN is roasted in a nuclear testing range (or AREA 51)? Nuff said.
Get enough people pissed off and even ACORN can’t skewer the results.
ACORN will get violent soon enough, and we will wipe them up.
He hasn’t had a scandal, he IS a scandal.
After all these years of Senator Reid’s public service, Nevadans ought to show their appreciation and have a Proposition drafted for coming ballot arranging for the Senator to retire on Obama’d government Health Care.
It would be great if that fossilized trial lawyer was put back on on the has been list where he belongs
Amazing news out of Nevada.
What happened to the allegations of real estate fraud against him? Shouldn’t he be in prison by next November 2010?
Reid has been the favorite of the boys in Vegas up to now. Zero and Reid have been bad for business in Vegas so look for Reid to be OUT.
I guess maybe we should run her.
