Harry Reid is in big trouble (he's not the only Dem senator facing grim re-election prospects)
American Thinker ^ | 8/11/2009 | Richard Baehr

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid may now be the most endangered incumbent Seantor running in the 2010 cycle. In a state where Barack Obama won by 12%, Reid has only 34% support for re-election, and trails a possible GOP challenger by 6%.

Connecticut Senator and Countrywide Financial favorite son Chris Dodd, also trails his likely GOP challenger, former Congressman Rob Simmons, by a similar high single digit margin.

I hope that every time she opens up her arrogant mouth, more people see what she really is.

The left has so grossly overplayed their hand it won’t be a “quiet repudiation”. Bush and the republicans were quietly repudiated for 3 election cycles... small continuous gains by Dems.

Fauxbama, Pelosi and Reid have gone insane, they are not going to listen to the middle, aren’t interested in the middle, are going to ramrod through whatever they can and portray the average american as an idiotic hater for opposing them. In the process they will ensure that any democrat not in the bluest of blue districts will be in fights for their political lives in the next election cycle.

Do you really think if you are a democrat from say Iowa or Kansas, that you are going to be able to get re-elected if you stick with these jokers agendas? Be serious. Pelosi et al are either going to force them to stick with them and cost them their political careers, or they will oppose them in hopes of staying in office. And by then it may be, too little too late to save them.

The demolishing of the democratic majority was guaranteed at the point most radical liberals thought they got everything sewn up. Fauxbama et al, are daily making the Carter administration look competent, and teaching an entire new generation why they were removed from power in the first place.

Now, with all that said, I agree there is too much left vs right no matter what, but in the things this group are trying to push, it isn’t about left v right as americanism vs europeanism. I don’t believe that every democrat is a crook or every republican is a God. I sure don’e believe that the government is the solution to all problems, and I don’t believe that markets are gods either.

Rational steps to reform our health care system I would not oppose, tort reform and limits on malpractice damages. Loser pays Tort systems. Community pricing requirements, etc. I would gladly stand up for. That is not what is being attempted however, this isn’t an attempt at reform its an attempt at control, and the american people will not stand for it.. and since the dems are pretty much the only ones on board with this ramrodding, they will be the ones who pay the price.

Obama’s arrogance explained. He couldn’t care a rip about the Blue Dog Dems or any others. He’s the community organizer who won the presidency with the help of a then rag tag, under funded ACORN. Just imagine what he can do after ACORN gets all that stimulus money and manages the census from start to finish. They were able to get Franken in after their creative recounts. Bottom line is he is going to lie, cheat and steal to push his agenda through no matter what the collateral damage is. He is confident that he will be able to mobilize the unions and ACORN in order to maintain his position and the majority.

While I approve of the sentiment, that demotivator would be more compelling without the typo.

Every two years. But her district is so solidly dem the only way you are going to get her out would be to saw off that part of San Francisco and let it sink in the bay.

Which, come to think of it, wouldn’t be bad in itself.

"must say, in the last election, ACORN was very active in Nevada. I am quite concerned about whether we will ever have another fair election in the US. Hope I’m wrong..."

This is my concern, too. We can't let ACORN and the commies subvert elections. IMO, they got so much money from BO to do that very thing.

Didn't Peter Schiff declare candidacy? What's the status on his campaign?

For all NV Freepers:

I am making up a Harry Reid ZERO bill in the next week. You’ll be able to print them up and hand em out, just like with the Obama Zero Dollar, and the soon-to-be released Pelosi Zero dollar bill.

Flood the state with these bills, get them in the hands of potential voters. Every bill passed out will help defeat Reid by keeping the pressure on him. the back of the bill will contain info and questions to ask him. Make sure if you can ask him record it with audio and if you can, video.

We have to make these people own up to what they say and do. We have to ask them the questions the liberal mainstream media won’t aks because the media wants them to be re-elected (as over 90% of the media admitted in polls they vote democrat).
