This is no time for jokes or trivial banter. The stakes are getting higher by the nanosecond. As tensions are inflamed at health care town hall meetings across the country, a dangerous trend of Hitler comparisons, Stalin comparisons, and all-around dictator comparisons to President Barack Obama is taking shape. The most probing question at this juncture might be uncomfortable to some, but it must be asked: Do conservative, hard-right demagogues, whose hatred for President Obama has hardly ever been subdued, secretly hope for--and are hard at work toward--the assassination of the nation's first Black president.
The sheer thought that a faction of the country's political bloc holds such views might unnerve certain readers, but fear of the probable demands that we face up to the consequences before it's too late.
A couple of days ago, violence broke out at a Tampa, Florida, health care summit at which U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor was speaking. Mob groups, contracted by right-wing organizations, loudly interrupted the Congresswoman as she spoke, causing a scene so volatile that it soon turned violent.
For those who had been following the recent outbursts of verbal chaos at countless Congressional health care-centered town hall meetings, the Tampa incident was but the inevitable culmination of a brewing hostility that had begun bubbling as early as last weekend, when Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, was heckled and berated by reform opponents at a Pennsylvania town hall meeting where she was also joined by Philadelphia Democratic Senator, Arlen Specter.

I did a very extensive Google/Bing search for any photos of protestors holding up “Kill Obama” signs after I searched for “Kill Bush” signs.
“Kill Bush” signs are all over the place; even t-shirts for sale.
“Kill Obama” got me exactly one relevant photo, an unknown grafitti “artist” that made a stir by scrawling it onto the windows of an old Toyota dealership.

The DNC noise machine is really getting whipped up. Rather than answer any question or engage any argument in a civilized manner, they deploy their goon squads, they use targeted legal intimidation, they shout you down, get you arrested, rough you up, and then turn around accuse accuse you of racism and fascism, just so they can watch you backpedal and apologize for something you never did and never would do.
This is how they work. They are going to shout us down and intimidate us at every turn, and accuse us of mob tactics. If you try to answer you will be accused of fascism and racism endlessly until you shut up. If you don’t want to be accused of racism and fascism and mob tactics by the fascist DNC mobs, then just shut! up!

We may be witnessing the rise of a new sort of Nazism, where political opponents are persecuted and exterminated under the banner of “anti-racism”. Once opponents of Socialism are falsely labeled “racists” they will be considered subhuman, and therefore not entitled to any rights or even humane treatment.
Of course, this has been going on more subtly for a long time. But, in the past, there had to at least be something for the race baiters to hang their hat on, some misunderstanding, poor choice of words, perceived slight, or maybe even an isolated incident of real racism, that would be treated as if it were the norm.
Now, we have Chris Matthews asking if Sarah Palin, who has never been heard uttering anything remotely racist, is “a poster girl for racism”, for simply stating long held, traditional, conservative American principles. This is a frightening development.

Some may hold their tongues out of a sense of civility, or so as not to give what has become a rapacious propaganda machine (which the left easily dehumanizes us with...) ammunition with which they can label us.

Seems to me the propaganda assaults are now moving more and more from just plain old nastiness towards the kind of demonization that might result in some union thugs thinking it’s perfectly OK to beat up one of those “Anti-American Nazi Fascists” (yes, another irony...).

I sure do not want to see my country or my family suffer such a whirlwind, but I’m afraid that it’s less and less likely a matter of IF; it’s simply a matter of when.

He makes a bunch of unsupported, false claims about the folks protesting Obamacare and then tries to demonize those against the Obama health care 'reform' by pretending that middle aged white men hate the mulatto president and want to see him see him assassinated. This is not only false and insulting but also a transparent attempt to put a majority of Americans - those who don't want Obamacare - on the defensive. It's just another way of stating that if you oppose anything Obama wants to do to this country and it's citizens, you're a 'racist'.
