Not good when your senator doesn’t know the meaning of capitalism. But given his voting record, it is no surprise.
In honor of the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, I offer the words of Wavy Gravy, one of the emcees of the event:
“Capitalism isn’t all that weird!”

Back in the 1990’s, when Teri Keenan was with CNBC, she asked Harkin if he thought the free enterprise solution was better for the health care system. He said it was free enterprise that had messed up the health care system. He really believes that free enterprise, which is no more than individual liberty, is wrong.

Someone should ask him if he knows what the underlying principle of Marxism is and how Obama’s agenda is different.

The guy on the right is Daniel Ortega, El Presidente de Nicaragua. I think Harkin has made it clear to his wife that he gets to do the first Lewinsky. After sKerry of course.

Sadly, Tom dungheap Harkin reflects the mindset of a majority of Iowans. The state is hopelessly blue. Harkin claims to be a Catholic and has worked tirelessly to support, defend, and fund abortion on demand in America. Iowa cinos have continued to send him to Washington. Even the obscenity of him screaming at Wellstone’s memorial didn’t seem to register negatively with Iowans.
He’s not up for a few years now, and even if he was, the Republicans are too spineless to take him down politically anyway. Last year, they wouldn’t even help their own nominee, who is a solid conservative, against him. In fact, they were actively undermining him. And before that, they have a record of running useless RINOs against him.
The only way to defeat a communist warrior like Harkin is with a conservative warrior, well-equipped and backed to the hilt.
