This is mildly off subject - it deals with townhall meetings - something the Sunday morning shows should have dealt with —

Here’s a liberal tactic being used at health care “townhall” meetings. Watch for it:

Got this in an email yesterday, don’t know where it’s from, and don’t know if is useful but maybe it is:

If you are planning on attending any meetings with a Congressman or Senator

HOW COLLECTIVISTS USE THE DIAMOND TACTIC TO SWAY PUBLIC MEETINGS AND HOW TO THWART THEM

by G. Edward Griffin

In the 1960s, I came across a small training manual distributed by the Communist Party that showed how a small group of people – as few as four – could dominate a much larger group and sway the outcome of any action taken by that group. It was called the Diamond Technique.
The principle is based on the fact that people in groups tend to be effected by mass psychology. They derive comfort and security from being aligned with the majority, especially if controversy or conflict is involved. Even if they do not like what the majority is doing, if they believe they are in the minority, they tend to remain silent and resigned to the fact that the majority should rule. This being the case, the Diamond Techniques is designed to convince the group that as few as four people represent the majority. Here is the strategy:

1. Plan ahead of time what action you want the group to take: nominate or oppose a candidate, support or oppose an issue, heckle a speaker, or whatever. Everyone on your team must know exactly what they are going to do, including contingency plans.

2. Team members should arrive at the meeting separately and never congregate together.

3. Team players should arrive early enough to take seats around the outside of the assembly area, roughly in the shape of a diamond. They must not sit together.

4. The object of the tactic is place your people around the perimeter of the audience so that, when they begin to take action, those in the center will have to do a lot of head turning to see them – to the right, then the left, then the rear of the room, then the front, etc. The more they turn their heads, the greater the illusion of being surrounded by people in agreement with each other, and the more they will be convinced that these people represent the majority opinion.

I have seen this tactic used by collectivists at numerous public meetings over the years, and I have participated in it myself on several occasions when confronting collectivists in their own tightly held organizations. It works. The only way to thwart the Diamond Tactic is to always be prepared to match it with your own team.

Never take a meeting for granted, especially if something important is scheduled to transpire, such as nomination of officers.
Even a simple gathering to hear an important speaker can turn into a nightmare if opponents send in hecklers.
So, always plan for the worst and be prepared to spring into action with comments from the floor such as: “I want to make it clear that these people do not speak for me. I am in total opposition to what they stand for. In fact, I would like to ask them to identify themselves. Who are you? Why did you come to this meeting? What is your agenda?”
If comments such as this are heard from three or four people around the outside of the room, the meeting will be very exciting, but the tactic will be defused.

Last week when the phony Unemployment number drop was released, Wallace made the comment that now that the economy is doing so much better we will have money for health care.

The reason why Tony Snow had to be out and Wallace had to be in. Wallace is one of them. The reason that Sarah Palin had to be destroyed...she is not one of them. She never will be.

These people despise the citizens of this country. We are supposed to shut up and permit more and more of our property to be confiscated so our betters can run things for our good.

Good point CNN is probably the best known news program all over the world along with BBC both of which tend to be in all hotel rooms worldwide.

I find it sometimes irritating though not to have a choice of CNN as seen in the US and having to have the European version which sometimes omits programs or does not have the re-runs that you get in the States.

I agree with mtnwmn. Opponents of this deathcare will be demonized regardless.

It’s time to stand up and make ourselves heard. It is the only hope of delaying the Dem agenda.

Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, w/o Hope and w/o God in the world. Eph 2:12

The need to push through JoCare is a must so the gummit can steal all the oldsters’ $$. The only way these Stalinists can keep this Ponzi scheme going is to take the peoples estates and turn them over to the Gum-state. This is how all dictators maintain their power and have the money to keep the masses satisfied. First you make the gummit the determiner for who lives and dies and then you change the estate laws so they take everything you own.

While reading The Joker’s book, The Audacity of Hope; one of the statements that stuck out was his insistence on the gummit’s need to seize everyone’s estates. He may have said everything over a $million so we know he meant everything. He is a extreme socialist/communist who thinks that they own everything that everybody owns, since it was earned in America. They believe that if it is earned in America than it needs to be returned to the poor who that money was stolen.

The reason Premier Hussain and Nazi Pelosi needs to ram Socialist Healthcare through congress is to get the foundation of the gummit seizing everything you own. When our healthcare is taken out of our doctors’ control and turned over to an IRS type agent, then there will be a computer decision for life and death. The agent will have your entire net worth, health history and political affiliation in front of them to help make that decision. Likely it will be done by computer to decide life or death. If you are over 70 yrs old those death rations will be made more and more frequently. The computer will be programed to say no to a 75 yr old cancer surgery so the $$$ can be used to save a 25 yr old AIDS patient. Never mind that they both have the same life expectancy, one is politically protected.

The next step is to say that our Country is out of money and we need more ways to find tax revenue to pay for this abortion. The last thing a socialist will do is to cut taxes since that allows people to make decisions for themselves. This is the antithesis of the Socialist Party since as they are showing in the FEMACare debate, they need to control every part of your life. Just like FDR who wanted to raise tax rates on everything over $100K to 99.5% and did raise it to 79% and eventually 100% over 25K during the war, they will never lower taxes to raise revenue. The other thing FDR did is begin the hatred of the Rich, which was the start of the #1 tactic they still use. This means the only way they will raise revenue is to increase the Estate Taxes on the Rich. Premier Hussain will raise these taxes to 100% over a million or some level he calls Rich.

This is the ultimate plan of the DNC and the Joker to make everybody slaves of the state. As this Country slips into more and more desperate times, these ideas will become more and more palatable to the masses. They will allow the gummit to tax them at 50-70% in exchange for HC and every other welfare need. Rather than Soylent Green this gummit is setting the system up to ration/withhold HC from the elderly and take their estates from them to pay for this Soviet system. This will make sure that the elderly don’t spend their savings or give it to their children before they die. The gummit is going to make sure death comes as early as possible.

This is the perfect system for the DNC. They have put in place death counseling/rationing for the elderly to make you sacrifice your life for the lives of the young. You will be told that you are a burden on your children and the sooner you die the better for everybody, especially Big Brother. There will be a line item thrown into that Life/Death Matrix that will determine your net worth and estimated Estate Tax to help make that determination. Is there any question which way those computerized thumbs will be turned? This is about as tough a decision for the DNC as Late Term Abortion Federal Funds. Any questions?

We have the most heartless and hatefilled man to ever hold the WH. He has no compassion for anyone in this Country and only wants to pay back Rich Whites for the crimes he believes they are guilty. This Party is the Party of Death and believes any means justifies their ends. They have no passion for people, just the unending hunger for power. This is the first step to control every portion of our lives including our length of life. These people worship gummit as their god and if this passes they will have ultimate control of Life and Death. After they decide who is born and who dies, they will take everything to expand their over bloated largess. Perhaps these Extreme Left Wingers are going to sacrifice us to their god and give our savings as their offerings.

Pray for America and the Tea Parties

Absolutely you only have to take my country as an example. Since we banned hand guns and put more strict restrictions on even law abding hunters our gun crime has gone through the roof. It has caused more police to be armed that ever in our history.

David Gregory quoted the Las Vegas Sun in one of his questions to Bloomberg. While I credit Gregory for expanding his editorial quotes past the New York Times and the Washington Post, when is the last time David Gregory quoted the Las Vegas Sun? Did he ever? Did anybody on the MTP payroll even know that a newspaper named the Las Vegas Sun even existed before today?

The establishmedia are supporters of communism just like the DNC. So what if the gummit is spying on people and shutting down free speech, that is what they want. PravdNBDNC is the enemy.

Pray for America

Good to see you snugs...I hope you are well!

Britain, unfortunately, is a great example of what gun control does. Are you seeing any citizen backlash against it? From what I’ve read, it at least appears many British are waking up to the Islamic threat...maybe gun control too?

I haven’t gotten mine!

I haven't gotten mine either. I worried about being removed from all the fun lists when I avoided making contributions to the RNC or the McCain campaign, but I didn't think it would come to this.

Remember who ownes NBC, GE. Who is in bed with Obama on Cap and Trade and "green" politics. GE. You will hear NOTHING critical of Obama from NBC unless he goes week in the knees on what GE wants. Obama is a wholly owned GE subsidiary these days. But why does GE back Obama on Health Care?

Easy, it a twofer for big business. 1st off they shift all the costs for providing their workers health care off on to the Government, and the taxes to pay for health care are easier to dodge for big business then small business. So the health care taxes become another barrier to anyone trying to compete with GE

Okay, the second segment of MTP is to push the idea that the stimulus package was really good and it’s working great but it’s real hard and we all have to be patient

Good news. Hope they push hard to claim credit, if the economy takes another tail spin, they cut the legs out from under their "it's all Bush's fault" propaganda. We want O to own this economy so if they want to claim credit because "ONLY" 1/4 of a million more Americans lost their jobs in July, LET THEM!

Let me get this straight.

The solution to people breaking the law is to take the guns from law abiding citizens?

Are these people REALLY this stupid?

Hey there, buddy. Good to see ya.

Here is the problem with the townhalls. The rep comes out with the prepared speech and talking points and starts in...47 million uninsured, richest country in the world, you’ll get to keep your plan.

Now, the citizens have actually read this turkey and read about it and they know that they are being lied to right to their faces right off the bat. That is what is enraging them!

So far, no congresscritter I know of has sat down and said let me hear your concerns and issues. They believe they are there to preach to us and they are furious that we won’t just shut up and listen to the lies.

The media will never give us a break, true. But with the cameras focused on us this isn’t the time to debate media bias. We need to promote our objections to HEALTH CARE.

Let me give an example: Mitch McConnel on Fox this morning.
These are the only “spokespeople” we have, and they don’t get it right. Here’s what I wish he had said (for me):

-—People see this massive bill being rushed through. And they want to be heard. Here’s what’s driving them:
A) The public option is unpopular. They believe they will lose private insurance down the road. No one is reassuring them. To them, the foot-in-the-door means changes and tweaks can be made next year or 5 years from now, leading inexorably to single payer.
B) They’re constantly told we have to cover the uninsured. But those who HAVE insurance discovered the Democrat plan will have profound effects on THEM. They wonder-—if we’re going to spend all that money-—why not just calculate the cost to cover the uninsured, tell Americans what it will cost, and then debate that?
C) What’s the rush? They want a debate that includes more than canned talking points. They’ve brought the issue to the spotlight. Now we need to take our time and address their concerns. Stuffing it down their throats will make things worse.
C) Seniors are rightly worried about cuts to Medicare.
and
D) Having their own government attack these Americans is NOT going to make the debate more civil. They’re yelling because they’ve been told this is going to pass NEXT month. To them, they only have this very small window to make their voices heard. If we slow down the process, take our time, I think that would help a lot.

WHY CAN’T REPUBLICANS SAY THINGS LIKE THAT?
