Seven months after she poured out her heartbreak in a wrenching letter to then President-elect Obama, the mother of murdered Brooklyn Marine Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak finally got a response - a form letter.
"Thank you for contacting President Obama," the note to Henryka Pietrzak-Varga begins. "We hope the issue you brought to the President's attention has been resolved."
Pietrzak-Varga, whose son and daughter-in-law were tortured and murdered last year allegedly by four other Marines, told a Polish newspaper she doubts Obama saw her letter.
"This is a standard response, something that can be sent out to anyone for any matter," the disappointed mom told the Dziennik Wschodni newspaper.
"What am I supposed to make of, 'We hope the issue has been resolved?' What does this mean? That somebody will give me my son back?"
The June 19 letter from White House aide F. Michael Kelleher arrived amid pre-trial hearings of the accused Marines, all of whom have pleaded not guilty to robbing and killing the sergeant and his wife, Quiana, in October 2008.
The White House could not immediately be reached for comment.
Prosecutors insist the Pietrzaks were slain for their money, but a homicide investigator has testified the Marines spray-painted racist remarks in the couples' California home.

“The president has written the family and has shared his feelings with the family,”
Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“Axelrod suggested Obama was prepared to recognize Jackson at a press availability Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, but the aide said no reporter raised Jackson’s death.”
Words can't describe the contempt I have for this coward.
They should give these bastards the firing squad.
What a horrible story. I had never even heard of this. How in the world did those awful thugs make it into the Marines?
I thought the Marines were better than that, unless, of course, they have special affirmative action recruiting standards. These guys even looked like thugs.
Prayers for that poor couple and their parents. And prayers that our classless, racist faux president will get converted and become a human being one of these days.
Hopefully he’ll be taken out of the WH in a straight jacket.

You know, I had a friend whose daughter was killed in the tornado that hit the school in Enterprise, Al. President Bush came down to that area and made a point to console and talk personally to each family that was grieving. Then we have heard of military families that he did the same thing, time after time. We know that Ronald Reagan personally wrote sympathy cards and would meet with families, and I’m sure President Bush 1 did the same. This guy is so narcissistic he could care less. If it doesn’t effect him, eh, so what? I really, really despise him, almost to the point that even Clinton would be better. (and that’s bad)
Most Marines are better than that. But of course, there is what's known as the "10%." These are the idiots that couldn't exist in society let alone the Corps. AA, Equal Opportunity, and Diversity training doesn't help. And, NO, I am not kidding. At least once a year Marines are forced to endure EEO and Diversity "seminars" in a setting similar to school assemblies.
It used to be that all Marines were green; some just darker shades than others. Now Marines are all different and that is supposed to be taken to heart. Someone who is white may have a diff view point because he is white. Someone who is black may have a diff view b/c he is black. Race is to be cherished and regarded. Race is to be taken to heart.
Recruiting quotas and promotions are targeted to (attempt) to match general society. If they look at the promotion list and discover that not "enough" minorities made the cut, they bump the bottom whites and promote the others. You find this all over. On FR someone posted an article proclaiming how great it was the Naval Academy had become "so diverse."
One thing policy makers fail to realize is the enemy doesn't care about our "diversity." All Americans die the same. But, before each of these assemblies they read off some historical citations for the Medal of Honor. After they are done you realize no white person has ever received the Medal.
Its a shame though, because the OVERWHELMING majority of the infantry (and combat arms in general) is white; Hispanic a distant second. There is one category no other race will ever take from whites; the Purple Heart. White people are very good at receiving the Purple Heart. In fact whites are so good at receiving it that more whites are killed or wounded in combat than ALL other races combined. But hey....WE'VE GOT DIVERSITY!!!!!! We have diversity that helps the underqualified graduate college. We have diversity and EEO that helps the underqualified make it through Officers' Candidate School. And we have EEO and diversity to enusre the underqualified become Senior Staff NCOS (though the majority of Infantry Officers are white)........ however, EEO and Diversity doesn't seem to come into play for the Purple Heart.
The armed services will take any who meet the standards and attempt to make them men.
A few days later we found out not only was it done by blacks, it was done by subordinates in his helicopter squadron...hence the complete media blackout. Absolutely NO mention in the San Diego/LA area media that this was a hate crime committed by blacks.
These scum should have been tried under the UCMJ, and they would be heading for the hangman's noose at Leavenworth. If it was whites, this absolutely would have been the case. Instead, the prosecution is being handled by the state....Gee I wonder why...and with Moonbeam Jerry Brown as AG, I have serious doubts these animals will receive the justice they have earned.

In a “National Emergency” and under Obama’s orders, how many would turn their guns on their own relatives, friends, and neighbors?
The media blackout on this is very disturbing.
This was right around the time of the election....no doubt it was intentionally squashed to protect the new black POTUS.
