Seven months after she poured out her heartbreak in a wrenching letter to then President-elect Obama, the mother of murdered Brooklyn Marine Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak finally got a response - a form letter.
"Thank you for contacting President Obama," the note to Henryka Pietrzak-Varga begins. "We hope the issue you brought to the President's attention has been resolved."
Pietrzak-Varga, whose son and daughter-in-law were tortured and murdered last year allegedly by four other Marines, told a Polish newspaper she doubts Obama saw her letter.
"This is a standard response, something that can be sent out to anyone for any matter," the disappointed mom told the Dziennik Wschodni newspaper.
"What am I supposed to make of, 'We hope the issue has been resolved?' What does this mean? That somebody will give me my son back?"
The June 19 letter from White House aide F. Michael Kelleher arrived amid pre-trial hearings of the accused Marines, all of whom have pleaded not guilty to robbing and killing the sergeant and his wife, Quiana, in October 2008.
The White House could not immediately be reached for comment.
Prosecutors insist the Pietrzaks were slain for their money, but a homicide investigator has testified the Marines spray-painted racist remarks in the couples' California home.

I had to see the article to understand what you meant... the sergeant that was murdered was white... his wife was black... and the four accused marines are also all black...
This woman’s pain must be incredible. I’m not much into the theraputic society idea of needing public figures for “healing” and “closure”, but this lady appears to have needed some kind words from someone like that. Most people in his position would have treated this with enormous sensitivity.
She went to the wrong place.
The lowest thug in the ACORN hierarchy would get a hand-written note from the president, and yet the mother of America’s finest can’t even catch the eye of Obama in a time of personal crisis. Speaks volumes. Volumes!
In fact, that says it all in a nutshell.
In order for the administration to respond someone would have had to have read the letter. That poor woman lost her son in a most heinous way and the degenerates occupying the White House and speaking on it’s behalf reply with this insulting garbage.
Oh yeah. He said as much in his campaign speeches in front of black audiences, sounded like he was channeling malcolm x.

Mothers to face criminals who killed Marine Sgt., wife
Terrorized and tortured, allegedly by four fellow Marines, Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife were on their knees in their ransacked home when one intruder handed a loaded gun to another.
“Do them,” Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller told Pvt. Emrys John, a former Marine testified Wednesday.
“They had them kneel over the couch and they placed a seat cushion over his head and shot him,” 22-year-old Justin Weissinger told the court. “They shot his wife, too. They shot her in the same manner, twice.”
Weissinger, who was kicked out of the service in February for flunking a drug test, said Miller gave him that account and even boasted about how they sexually assaulted Pietrzak’s wife, Quiana.
That was too much for her mother, Faye Williams-Jenkins, who fled the California courtroom in tears
