WASHINGTON -- When 10 members of Congress wanted to study climate change, they did more than just dip their toes into the subject: They went diving and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. They also rode a cable car through the Australian rain forest, visited a penguin rookery and flew to the South Pole.

OK, your trip provided us an important insight into Congressional corruption. For that, we thank you. When do we get paid back for your trip, Congressman?

At least there was one lesson on GW they didn’t forget.

“Other legislators agree it wasn’t all fun and games. “There are a lot more glamorous things to do than hang out on the South Pole,” said Rep. Frank Lucas, an Oklahoma Republican who traveled as well. “I never want to wear that many clothes again.”

“The South Pole trip, led by Rep. Brian Baird (D., Wash.), ranks among the priciest. The lawmakers reported a cost to taxpayers of $103,000”

Damn, Congressman Coward, just think of all the Brownshirted thugs you could’ve hired for 103 grand.

Right. Instead of visiting coal mines, power plants, people of Appalachia, etc., and maybe LEARNING a thing or two about how his global warming vote will affect REAL people, he and his comrades go to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

And the MSM is still quiet.

You can’t beat a five star vacation staying in posh hotels on the backs of taxpayers- and no worry ACORN and SEIU will approve so long as they get their share of the loot!

It smells fishy.

IT IS TIME TO DEMAND that Congress and President/family go on same Healthcare program as taxpayers. A current President can have a personal doctor, but once he is voted out, then he returns to the gov’t Healthcare program...and Congress must use it, and no special treatment. These people are elected to serve, and not rule.

That would increase the assurance that garbage will not be stuffed down the Americans throats, and enveloped in the word Healthcare. As taxpayers we need to add some changes of our own.

We don’t really need the MSM as all these protests against Obamacare is proving. No one listens to them anymore. Fox News beats every single one of them. Younger kids get their news (of sorts) from Twitter and the Internet. The American people are getting their news online. My local paper has descended into a liner for the birdcage meaning there are less and less pages and more and more drivel. The MSM are there for their own kind. We left them a long time ago.
