I believe that too many citizens — among them certain specific segments of the media and some politicians — lack respect for both our borders and for our nation’s Border Patrol Agents. There is a collective blindness to the realities of what our Border Patrol Agents face at the borders, both South and North. To paraphrase myself, our borders and our Border Patrol Agents get no respect.

Drug cartels, gangs, human traffickers, and terrorists are coming across our borders and they are altogether too ready and too willing to kill our BP Agents. But virtually no one in the media is willing to focus on this issue — no one seems interested in reporting on the very real dangers faced by Agents every day. Too often we hear from the mainstream media that the people crossing are just poor itinerant workers hoping to make an honest living and our BP Agents are violent and over reactive thugs doing the will of a soulless democracy. There are websites in existence that actually promote that ridiculous and dishonest philosophy.

I’ll do what I can to help raise the cry about this travesty.
Britt was one of the last people to see agent Rosas alive.
Minutes before he died, Agent Rosas started to walk to his car, and he turned back to Britt and said, “we are going to get these guys, I’ll come back and tell you about it.”
Please thank Britt for all he does.

Where’s the outrage? Even good ‘conservatives’ don’t seem to pay attention to this tragedy. Mr. Rosas was a Mexican-American...you’d think the likes of La Raza and the open border crowd around here could muster some sympathy. BUT caring about ‘hispanics’ really isn’t their agenda, is it?
Even if you forget about conservatives, where is the Communist-in-Chief? He rushed to make a statement about Dr. Tiller's murder, but nooooooooo, nothing about Officer Rosas murdered by invaders.

I don’t expect anything decent out of Obama, I do expect better out of ‘conservatives’.
