I have been periodically posting emails I get from moveon.org, as I am on their mailing list. I share them with my FReeper friends because I am sure you will find them as enlightening as I do.
Notice that the last paragraph states: "This month could decide the future of health care and clean energy in America...". I posted another moveon.org email a few weeks ago that featured an offer for pre-orders for the latest Shepard Fairey poster of windmills because September was going to be the big push for "clean energy". This was set to kick-off before the Obama plan for healthcare came apart at the seams, and didn't go off as planned. Health care was supposed to have been a done deal in Aug.
Here is one I just received today:

Dear MoveOn member, It's getting ugly out there.
All across the country, right-wing extremists are disrupting congressional town-hall meetings with venomous attacks on President Obama's plans for health care and clean energy.
Last night in Tampa, Florida, a town hall meeting erupted into violence, with the police being called to break up fist fights and shoving matches.1 A Texas Democrat was shouted down by right-wing hecklers, many of whom admitted they didn't even live in his district.2 One North Carolina representative announced he wouldn't be holding any town-hall meetings after his office began receiving death threats.3 And in Maryland, protesters hung a Democratic congressman in effigy to oppose health-care reform.4 We've got a plan to fight back against these radical right-wingers. We've hired skilled grassroots organizers who are working with thousands of local volunteers to show Congress that ordinary Americans continue to support President Obama's agenda for change. And we're building new online tools to track events across the country and make sure MoveOn members turn out at each one. But we need to scale up our efforts quickly to make sure this plan works. To really swing into action during this month's congressional recess, we need to raise at least $250,000 immediately. Can you chip in $35 to support our work?

If the shouts of the right-wing mobs are the only voices our senators and representatives hear over the recess, we'll have a hard time passing health care and clean energy legislation.
That's why we're launching our Heat Up Congress campaign so quickly to fight back, using new technology to implement rapid response town hall turnout, organizing personal phone calls from small business leaders and donors to their representatives, running new ads, and activating an energized network of on-the-ground organizers and volunteers.
This month could decide the future of health care and clean energy in Americaand we're already one week in. If you've been sitting on the sidelines, now's the time to get involved. Talk to your neighbors, go to a town hall meetingand today, please chip in $35 to support our work:

Oh, you managed to find the rough draft!
Peaceful protests until Obama supporters show up. Hmmm...
Krystalnacht coming soon for conservatives?
This isn’t going to end well, is it?
>>We’ve hired skilled grassroots organizers who are working with thousands of local volunteers
But when two conservatives show up with similar home-made signs, its “astroturfing”?
If we only had a free media in this nation, these hypocritical SOBs would be a laughing-stock!
MoveOn lives in an Orwellian world, in which they are the Ministry of Truth. The Obama Administration calls out ACORN and SEIU members to flock to the town hall meetings, and MoveOn frets about conservative violence? This is an absurd view of what is actually occuring in this country. If MoveOn had any principles besides the pursuit of political power, it might be ashamed of itself.
MoveOn members are 0bama’s little butt-boy slaves.
I know where you were going with it, and you’re absolutely right. They always change up the rules in order to benefit themselves. I’ve tried pointing things like this out to them, and they never can see it. Rush is right again, liberalism IS a mental disorder.
I’m just so focused on this bill that has nothing to do with health, and death to America is all I can think it means. It’s a huge nail in the coffin of the US, and I’m beside myself with what this thug and his minions have accomplished in such a short time. And now they claim they’re cleaning up a mess that was left to them!
We know better, we know that’s not where the money is going, but where is the stimulus money, where is the money that was going to help the housing crisis and get Main Street going again? It was never intended to help our economy from the beginning.
If we can’t stop these cretins now, I have a feeling that come election time, we’re going to realize where it went - lots of new “jobs” will have been created with the stimulus $$ and they’ll all be designed to keep dems in power - think Acorn on steroids. They’ll also be getting payback from all their friends in high places who have benefited from their many crises.
I’d like to think I’m wrong, but it keeps nagging at me -where is all that money! /rant
All their sources are from moveon.org? WTF?
lol.. I thought so too. The nerve of those people. Some one ought to horse whip them for strirring up so much trouble. I'm afraid we haven't seen anything yet.

The first time conservatives came out in a big way was when Gore was trying to steal the election with screwy recounts in Flordia. I remember seeing protesters shout down Jesse Jackson when he came to town with the usual liberal dog and pony protest show. They were drawfed! Liberal reporters seemed shocked.
I guess it’s now “normal” for conservatives to make sure the Left is not stealing the show of popular opinion. We are very fortunate this has changed.
We should turn this anti-American, violent organized thuggery in at flag@WhiteHouse.gov I’m sure Mr. Obama and Attorney General Holder want to know about these crazy MoveOn.org terrorists before they are able to hurt anyone!!

Americans need to be very vigilant: Obama and his loathsome COS staff Rahm ("Uriah Heep") Emanuel are very calculated in their use of power. As dissent among the populace grows, they are capable of plotting staged events to boost their advantage. If these two arch-manipulators perceive there isnt measurable fear in the hearts of the people, they will create that fear to solidify their power. They know people will succumb to fear and will relinquish their God-given liberties when they are fearful.

We are witnessing the emergence of a new government dictatorship...on American soil. History tells us that the rampant corruption, fed by cronyism, are the nuts and bolts of dictatorships. Dictatorships are almost always governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect each other from accountability.
CASE IN POINT --- HERE'S WHAT OBAMA SAID Obama "said" in the FOIA memo (below), The Government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears. Obama added later that In responding to requests under the FOIA, executive branch agencies (agencies) should act promptly and in a spirit of cooperation, recognizing that such agencies are servants of the public.
HERE'S WHAT OBAMA DID Freddie Mac records exempt from FOIA (Obama Admin Denies Request)

Journalists Bob Secter and Andrew Zajac of the Chicago Tribune report that, while researching what went at Freddie Mac during the period White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel served on the government sponsored enterprises board of directors, they were unable to get minutes of board meetings and other information. The Obama administration rejected a Tribune request under the Freedom of Information Act to review Freddie Mac board minutes and correspondence during Emanuels time as a director.
The documents, obtained by Falcon for his investigation, were commercial information exempt from disclosure, according to a lawyer for the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Freddie Mac executives cooked the books, mismanaged the firm, and ultimately drove it into the ground, costing taxpayers billions of dollars. The commercial information exemption is reserved for private companiesFreddie Mac is by no means a private company anymore.
=================================
BACKSTORY Rahm Emanuel was director when Freddie Mac board was tipped to fraudulent BONUS schemes. "On (Rahm) Emanuel's watch, the board was told by executives of a plan to use accounting tricks to mislead shareholders about outsize profits the government-chartered firm was then reaping from risky investments. The goal was to push earnings onto the books in future years, ensuring that Freddie Mac would appear profitable on paper for years to come and helping maximize annual bonuses for company brass.
The accounting scandal wasn't the only one that brewed during Emanuel's tenure. During his brief time on the board, the company hatched a plan to enhance its political muscle. That scheme, also reviewed by the board, led to a record $3.8 million fine from the Federal Election Commission for illegally using corporate resources to host fundraisers for politicians. Emanuel was the beneficiary of one of those parties after he left the board and ran in 2002 for a seat in Congress from the North Side of Chicago.
The board was throttled for its acquiescence to the accounting manipulation in a 2003 report by Armando Falcon Jr., head of a federal oversight agency for Freddie Mac. The scandal forced Freddie Mac to restate $5 billion in earnings and pay $585 million in fines and legal settlements.
It also foreshadowed even harder times at the firm. Many of those same risky investment practices tied to the accounting scandal eventually brought the firm to the brink of insolvency and led to its seizure last year by the Bush administration, which pledged to inject up to $100 billion in new capital to keep the firm afloat. The Obama administration has doubled that commitment."
