I thought it was: Seniors, it is time to hurry up and die for the good of the nation.

AARP Organizers Cancel ‘Listening Session’

The former hippies who run AARP want Obamacare, so there's really no point in listening to people who oppose it, right?

They either need to be heard,

or prepare to “die for the common good”. This is their choice.

AARP just another libtard front group. Who didn’t know.

Not the members, they actually thought the AARP was looking out for their interests.

Did we say we wanted a dialogue, we meant monologue

I know several people who were members, they’ve cancelled their memberships because of the hellthcare (spelled it that way on purpose) mess and told AARP why.

I turned 50 last December.
I sell insurance and investments, so AARP is OFTEN my competitor, though their products are usually overpriced.
(They have to be, since AARP gets a “kick back” for their endorsement.)

I did not send in my “dues” since I despise AARP.

However, I just noticed that there is NO phone number on their “welcome” letter.

I have held on to that letter, until today. I will mail it back with NO money, and a note: “Obama is a Communist. AARP supports Communism! NO Socialized Medicine!”

My Gosh!

Look at those scary, thuggish, rent-a-mobbers!

Out of what gutters did the evil insurance companies recruit them?

I canceled yesterday; told ‘em why — rep did NOT sound thrilled.

I guess it's time to give up my $3 motel discounts.
My dues are due - overdue, actually.
I wonder if they'll send some goons after me.

Love the way the AARP clowns talk to their members like children.

” I wonder if they’ll send some goons after me. “

I;m sure ACORN, the UAW, or the Black Panthers can find time for you - especially if you attend your congrescritter’s Town Hall meeting....

The AARP is afraid they can’t ‘control’ a public meeting in the way they control their media ads. So to prevent the chance that an irate senior will exercise their first amendment, cancel it, but for other reasons of course.

A question about AARP. They keep sending my wife and I AARP cards in the mail. We’ve never sent them a dime in the five or six years they’ve been sending them. Does anyone know if they might be carrying us on the books as a member and we don’t know it?

Call and let your voices be heard!!!! Even if you’re not a member, call them and tell them you will work diligently to get everyone you know to either never sign up or to cancel!

They are a radical leftist group that is pro euthanasia

I just called...swamp their switchboard. If you tell them you’re not a member in the recording you’ll get a real person right away!
