It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

That was the best theory I could come up with. Lousy theory, however. Here's what I wrote Sunday evening:
I've been trying to understand the document's chain of custody, assuming it's not a forgery. Why would anyone other than Zero's parents have ordered the document, and why would it not presently be in Zero's possession? About the only semi-plausible theory I've been able to think of is that Stanley Ann's lawyer ordered the BC in support of her divorce petition. And instead of turning it over to her, he left in his files, where someone found it recently and sent it off to Orly.Of course, a forger would have thought of the custody chain implausibility issue and might well have chosen the February 1964 date with the divorce in mind.
Others posted similarly lame theories, such as that the document was stolen from his mother's effects after she died in 1995 (very lame, since no one would have realized the significance), or that it was stolen from Toot's effects (also very lame, since Obama had had plenty of opportunity to prevent that).
The thing is, Orly needed to say from whom she got the document and where that person got the document, etc.
The photo we had was purported to be of a document in Orly's possession. If this isn't the case, then we were misled.
So we were. If Orly had the paper document, she should have posted a big fat 600 dpi scan of it, instead of that eye-straining teaser on Scribd (BTW, I hate Scribd!).

Concerned by the terrible carnage of a disappointed defeated mob of Odinga, the victorious President Kibaki made Odinga co-leader and called him "Prime Minister". Dr Corsi indicates one million dollars was laundered by "friends of Senator BO" (P.115) for Odinga's campaign.
Please excuse this lengthly rant, but I just cannot let go. In my view this is a serious matter and of course will never be addressed. Interference in a Sovereign nations elections.
What documentation has he not provided that was provided by GWB, WJC, GHWB, RWR, JEC, GRF, RMN, LBJ, JFK, DDE, HST, FDR etc?
In the original article it never said they only had a photo, it was always discussing the document.
Taitz told WND that the document came from an anonymous source who doesn't want his name known because "he's afraid for his life."
This quote strongly implies that she had the document.
In the Orange County Register, August 3, 2009 Michael Mello reported,
A Mission Viejo-based lawyer claims to be in possession of a copy of what she says is President Barack Obama's Kenyan birth certificate.

"There are no ready means of authentication except by recovery of the original document," the motion states, noting Taitz's fear the original may be lost: "It is also apparent … that political pressure may be brought to bear to destroy all relevant evidence, whether such evidence exists within or outside the borders of the United States of America."
Taitz did not say how she came across the copy.
A photo of the purported document posted to Taitz's Web site shows a folded, typewritten document, embossed with a seal. It lists Obama's birth on "4th August, 1961, at Coast General Hospital" in the coastal city of Mombasa.
The document itself has a Feb. 17, 1964, date and reads, "Republic of Kenya." The date, Taitz said, is because it's a certified copy, not an original.
This narrative clearly separates the photo of the document from the document which is purported to be in Orly's possession.
Why I do believe you are right, lost and went on a killing spree. I don't know about the endorsement, though. I am guessing you just added this for hyperbole...
Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a “close personal friendship” with Barrack Hussein Obama. When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi. Obama’s bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s “stooge.”

What we have is THE photo in question, but now accompanied by other photos showing key elements which only the most deranged would insist are “faked” (the blanket, lighting, etc.).
It is far easier to believe some twit got a copy of a real Kenyan BC, scanned it, edited out the personal stuff, printed the remaining material, stuck it in an old typewriter (some of us still have them), pounded out suitable content, printed it, crumpled/smoothed/folded/unfolded it, took & distributed THE photo (along with a subsequent insult version), (all of which is really quite easy) vs. some rather sophisticated editing to turn THE photo into a set of convincing “here’s how I faked the OTHER photos” just to annoy us.
Occam’s Razor rules. The Kenyan BC photo is a hoax. We’re had, several “birther” leaders are had, it’s over guys. Unless the Kenyan government issues a formal announcement that they do indeed have the original BC - and show it for analysis - the “birthers” have gone the way of the “truthers”. Obama will keep his long-form BC hidden just to drive the hardcore believers nuts. On general principle I’ll still contend he was born in Kenya and his mother gamed the system to get a US BC (all that circumstantial evidence & explanation still holds up), but as for proof - nope, those papers have been removed by extremely rich, well-connected, motivated, powerful, amoral people.
We’ve got plenty of other battles to fight - like the informant solicitation, “health care”, and the whole ACORN gang.

I’ve read quite a bit of this thread, but might not have read far enough....Did freepers compare the photos of the first image Orley posted with the forger’s pictures side by side, or did they just assume from the pattern in the blanket, etc. that the forgery and this guys story are correct. I don’t care either way, and haven’t gotten into the B.C. arguments, but it sure would be easy to take all the information from the last couple of days and turn yourself into the genius who duped the birthers, even if you really didn’t. I could have gotten my Dad’s blanket, a typewriter from his basement, some paper, and a coin from my extensive coin collection and done the same thing. I would have been smart enough to make the folds look the same though. It’s likely a fake anyway, but what libtard blogger wouldn’t want to make himself famous that way. You know how stupid they are.
