LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - An unruly Little Rock crowd heckled and shouted at two Arkansas Democratic congressmen Wednesday, accusing them of supporting a government-backed health plan that would take away Americans' personal choice and freedom.
At one point, U.S. Rep. Mike Ross sat with his head in his hands while the crowd shouted. He and fellow Democratic Rep.
Vic Snyder told audience members at a forum at Arkansas Children's Hospital that they wouldn't support a completely government-run, single-payer health insurance plan.

Exactly! Great point. Govt keep your hands off my body and my health care.
“I am NOT Soylent Green!”
Resist!
Unfortunately, Sotomayer gets confirmed whether or not ‘Pubs support her. This is another reason why 2010 is so important. The next 12-14 months have to be pure screaming hell for Zero.
I liked the part when the guy said he was a big Obama fan, and someone yelled, “Get a job!”
Thanks. Feel free to share.
The student that said this needs to learn English. Then he needs to learn that public bureaucrats will run his health care under Obama's plan, not elected officials. What are they teaching students in Arkansas?!?
Weasel words. So what is he saying - that he would support a 98% government-run, single-payer health insurance plan?
(So maybe he is reserving the remaining 2% for members of Congress who won't have to take the public plan.)
Thanks Princess and Frantzie - I thought I was being a dumbass. But it is true, isn’t it? The gub’mint has NO business between me and my doctors, and no business between me and MY GOD who will decide when my time is up.
And dammit! In for a penny....
If I choose to eat a Twinkie (have sex) and gain ten pounds (get pregnant) then it’s MY business and I’ll take care of it how I please! (go on a diet) (get an abortion) and I don’t need men in suits in Washington telling ME what I should do or not do with the extra poundage! THAT’S between me, my doctor, my conscience and my God.
Ok, Judging by the lameness of my posts I HAVE to stop now. But thanks for the hoo-rahs! I appreciate it.
Pray for America

Kauffman continued, "I was at mad at (Ross and Snyder) for not standing up for stronger health care reform. But after seeing this crowd tonight, I'm pleased with seeing what you have done. I've rather have you two overlook my health care plan than any private insurance bureaucrat any day.
This kid's a typical moron and the poster child of why kids shouldn't be allowed to vote until they've lived in the real world. He thinks that his congressmen are going to be looking over his healthcare. Moron. The same bureaucrat, or at least same kind of bureaucrat, is going to be looking over your healthcare. Your congressmen won't have a thing to do with it after it's handed over to the "National Healthcare Czar" and when the Government runs out of money to pay your bills, then we'll hear "well we have to raise taxes or we have to cut benefits" every election cycle.
Your care will be crap. The employees at the government run system will be lazy and moronic - because they don't have to be effective to keep their jobs. The policies will shift with the wind, and NO billionaire or rich pharma company is going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars looking for cures to diseases because they can no longer make money from their discovery and hard work. Our healthcare infrastructure in 20 years will look like the current school system - in shambles.
This kid is a big supporter of Obama because he speaks in platitudes and promises the world an "amazingly better" way. If he could deliver this "amazingly better" way, don't you think we would have done it already?
These Blue Dogs sold their souls to the Devil (Rahm/O) to get elected and now they are screwed.
KEep the pressure on - this is another Alinsky tactic.
Soto can’t make any laws on her own, cmon. And she replaces a whacko eugenics loving lib. Its bad, real bad, but not THAT bad.
Skull full of mush.
These “Blue Dogs” do have a big problem on their hands.
If they vote for this bill........they will lose reelection.
If they vote against.......they have to face the wrath of the Ballerina Czar for the next year or so and look at open opposition from the DNC to their run including no election funds from the party.
They’re screwed either way they go.
If I a Blue Dog in the House, supposedly conservative and all, I gotta go with my gut and face the consequences. Voting/Running against Obama is the surest way to gain popularity in their districts right now.
Government, stay out of my hospital room!
Government, stay out of my doctor's office!
Government, stay out of my medicine cabinet!
Government, leave my body alone!
Well, there is a reason that my husband and I sacrifice big time to send our kids to the Catholic school downtown rather than the public school that I can see from my back door...
If I were them (and I never would because I would not sel my soul to the devil) - I would beon the phone with the GOP. If they defected and voted against it - they might have a some career.
If they stand up to Rahm-O - they will have a primary opponent with lots of money.
Still most people do not like rats who switch parties but it worked for Richard Shelby in AL.
If the GOP and Michael Steele had any brains - they would be on the phone. These AR Blue Dogs could also get Arkancide-ed for their troubles.
“Government, stay out of my hospital room!
Government, stay out of my doctor’s office!
Government, stay out of my medicine cabinet!
Government, leave my body alone! “
AMEN!!!!!!
and thanks. :)
Who in their right mind would support Obama’s Deathcare? Maybe the elites in Government can opt out but the most of us can’t—we will be the ones to take the poison pill whe the Government believes we are no longer of service to the state. Even the old Soviet Union wasn’t quite this bad.
