Another retiring Republican senator is saying yes to Sonia Sotomayor's nomination to the Supreme Court.
Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) is the eighth Republican to announce his support for Sotomayor, making it clear that the judge will get somewhere between 65 and 70 yes votes for her confirmation vote Thursday evening.

What is with these Republican idiots? :-(
Kit Bond also supports Sotomayor, Lisa Murkowski opposes her.
This has never really been in doubt. I have to give Republicans credit, as they’ve put up a better fight than I thought they would. They didn’t roll over like they did with Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Need to start a drive to keep them from being re-elected and tell them they’re TOAST.
Pat Toomey says Sotomayor is qualified for the High Court too.
I predicted 77-80 the day she was nominated...my bad.
They’ll learn come election time; but in NH, he might be safe- that’s RINO land
“Pat Toomey says Sotomayor is qualified for the High Court too.”
Not one of his better choices. If I’m not mistaken, Toomey is soft on illegals and supports Free Trade. However, he’s going to be the nominee, so these complaints won’t do much good.
Judas
There were plenty of posters back in 2004 who screamed for revenge at Santorum for backing Specter. Are the same people going to give the same outrage to Toomey?
BTW, Club for Growth is a both pro-free trade and pro-guest worker program. Steve Moore has been critical of Tancredo’s fiery anti-immigrant rhetoric.
I’ve met maids in New York City hotels with more brains than her. She’s just another dumb....
Now that would scare Judd pert near to deff.
He's not running.
I will do my part to see that these Republican traitors loose their jobs. Might give a message to any that follow.
Wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt a lifetime appointment. She gets in and we are stuck with her and her ultra liberal decisions, for all eternity. RINO idiots.
What’s with these gutless wonders supporting this bum judge and the edge of their retirement?
It people like these that have caused me to be done with the republican party. Yes, I will still vote to support certain republicans, but as a whole, the GOP doesn’t mean a damned thing to me.
I think that conservatives are so outraged at Specter, they’ll swallow their concerns. They didn’t feel that way against Bob Casey, who is pro-life and pro-gun, though liberal otherwise.
Some of the ones supporting this unqualified activist trash aren’t running for reelection. Their nice parting shot at America.
If Gregg is defeated Republicans can kiss that seat goodbye for twenty years.
Ping
Gregg is retiring.
I hate RINOs.
