PESHAWAR - At least three persons including wife and brother of Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud were killed and several others injured when US drone missiles hit a house in Zangara, in Sara-rogha tehsil of Ladha, S Waziristan.
Four missiles hit the house of Ikramuddin, father-in-law of Baitullah Mehsud. As per local residents, wife and brother of Baitullah Mehsud were among the killed persons. They also said that Baitullah was seen in the house on Tuesday last.

Adding that Baitullah's brother was also killed.
There is more, very tentative, that Baitullah was at the house also and may have been killed in the attack.
Reports that about 40 people were at the house for some sort of gathering. Baitullah and his immediate family were in a separate part of the compound that was hit by two missiles. Baitullah was known to nearly always be with his second wife, and his brother was his bodyguard. We should have confirmation by tomorrow if Baitullah is dead.

This is very disturbing that the US would kill some terrorist leader’s wife. After all, who now can he have help him hold down some American’s head, when he cuts it off?

You can count on there was a SEAL team someplace in the area that OK’d the hit. Likely put a laser dot on the target to guide the missiles.
The difference is that a hit squad might take its oath seriously whereas a drone requires upkeep and supervision by technical people who are more likely to prevent ‘unauthorized’ use.
