Democrats are accusing Republicans of organizing "angry mobs" to disrupt town hall meetings across the country, but conservatives say the protests are a sign of the opposition to President Obama's health care plans. The Democratic National Committee released a video Wednesday charging that Republican operatives "have no plan for moving our country forward, so they've called out the mob." The video shows footage of angry constituents at recent events and then flashes pictures of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader John Boehner, Republican National Chairman Michael Steele, and conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh on the screen.
The ad says "desperate Republicans and their well-funded allies" are trying to "destroy President Obama..."
As legislators return to their home states and hold town meetings, some have been met with hecklers and hostile opponents of the Democrats' health care proposals.
Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, was badgered by a crowd in Austin over his support of Obama's health care plans..."In my 15 years of hosting 'Office Hours' at neighborhood groceries and similar locations to talk with my constituents in Central Texas about the issues they care about, at times, I have engaged in vigorous discussion and even a heated argument or two. But I have never had neighbors cut off with the Republican-organized mob-type conduct of last Saturday," Doggett told CNN.
"After engaging this Republican crowd for an hour of explaining the health care bill and listening to their objections and taunts, the 'just say no' crowd, insisted upon silencing their neighbors by blocking a store entrance and yelling at the top of their lungs."..."I think that a fair amount of the activity was orchestrated. I think a fair amount of it was involved individuals who came without being orchestrated. But it was a battleground," Specter told The Associated Press.

The RNC is incapable of astro-turf.
The organization has neither the will, the brains, or the balls.
Please ignore the ACORN rent-a-mob behind the curtain...
AMEN.... when we choose to stand up for Truth, we are labeled as an angry mob.
When the corrupted libs choose to stand up, they are called peaceful protesters.. especially the Black Panthers and the ACORNS who are bussed in for the Town Hall Meetings!!!
Republicans aren’t that organized to do that.

Democrats are nothing but a bunch of Brown Shirt bastards.
Republicans are “staging” townhall protests?
I prefer to call it “community organizing”.
They know this is a lie,
and that’s why they’re crapping their depends over it.
Hey, Arlen...the American Revolution was "orchestrated" and that didn't seem to turn out so bad.
Geez...what a pant-load.
Have the Democrats protesting during these ‘town halls’ also gotten this memo?
they might be right about the PARTY, but they are not informed as to the individuals who group together as Americans to fight the communicism being rammed down our throats.
Unlike obamanation-worshiping sheep, we don’t need a FALSE IDOL to prostrate in front of!
WE ARE AMERICANS, INDIVIDUALLY and COLLECTIVELY... that is who is showing up at Town Hall meetings!!
We all know that the SEIU and ACORN “protesters” are organized (wearing the same clothes, holding up the same professionally made signs).
Why is it such a scandal if the GOP does it?
Democrats believe killing not yet born Americans is a right. They have no problem lying. If their lips are moving they are lying.
most people see it as moving the country backward.
the result will be no more "town hall" meetings because they really don't care what the people think, they only care about getting re-elected and having power
Of course the Dems think the protests are staged! Why wouldn’t they think so, since that’s what they do whenever and wherever they can!
I don’t think these guys know we’re pretty miffed at Republicans too. If the Republicans had shown even a little backbone and/or some principles we wouldn’t be living through the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triumvirate.
I love it!
I see it as moving the country over a very high cliff.
