I might if I can swing it. The two closest ones are in Ft. Collins and Longmont. Instead of confronting the DUmmies on health care I think I'd rather pass out some fliers describing that new bill that will destroy truck farming and small organic farms. I would give them to everybody except the 0bamunistas.
I'd only disagree a little bit. They know the *theory* of what they've studied and what they're trying to do but they have no real life experience so they are making big mistakes (at least recently.) It is this arrogant university-style marxism that is going to be their downfall. They are following rules from books they don't really understand and we are fighting back with a 200+ year history of actually accomplishing governance that is as fair for all as can be done.
**Cant wait to attend a local event myself. That is if my congress critter is not too scared to have one.**
Call your senators and representative.
If they do not have currently scheduled townhalss, politely ask when and where they will have one and then post it on your state board on FR.
If they are ‘chicken’ then ask to meet in private with them — make an appointment — and take someone else with you.
Keep checking your state boards here on FR. Info about the townhalls should show up.
Also check the Senate and House of Representatives sites, because most of them have their scheduled townhalls listed.
Keep the faith and keep praying!

He has gathered his summer workers called Organizing for America (and supposedly the DNC pays for them but I WANT PROOF that it is not coming out of the stimulus etc like ACORN is.)
I called one of the organizers listed there who is doing a huge phone bank on Aug 8 and asking for people to do 2 hour stints.
I told her the two facts about the health care bill that she should know-about abortion funding that is forced and about the government having full access to everyone's medical and BANK ACCOUNTS if they are signed into the health program.
She asked me to email her the stuff....I can do that...but I told her I would BE at the phone bank informing the volunteers of exactly what they are doing and what could very well happen to their own parents and themselves as the age.
I hope to get some people to join me here in Indy.
Also...there are five or six other events in my zip code area....one is a door to door friday evening. Makes me SICK!
It is a well organized email organizing campaign....
conservatives are WAY BEHIND THE EIGHT BALL!
Why don’t we have such a site to organzize our people?
Meanwhile while we are attacking Obama’s organizing skills....I have NO website I can go to and find
1. where the latest political events/townhalls are?
2. who else in a 15 mile radius shares my desire to become politically active as a conservative?
3. Who else in my neighborhood I could contact that shares my views?
Instead of complaining about ‘community agitation” we should be getting our organizing in our communities going!
We should have an effective website that is interactive!
What is REALLY FRIGHTENING is that conservatives have NO such organizing tool!!!
What is insane is that conservatives are NOT organized at the grassroots!
Instead of getting sick...ask yourself why YOU can’t find other conservatives in your area and where the latest events are to attend with a click of your computer mouse????
They are beating us at community organizing! What do you think grassroots politics is about? Once we leave a townhall meeting we all go home and that’s it!
I contacted the Indiana group here, no responses so far.
