A document unveiled by a California attorney in her quest to determine President Obama's place of birth has been condemned as a forgery by critics who deride as nonsense the challenges that have been raised to the president based on the U.S. Constitution's demand that the Oval Office occupant be a "natural born" citizen.
But those on the other side, who would like to see the original documentation of Obama's birth place revealed, say there are factors that indicate the Kenyan birth document could be real.
WND reported when the document was submitted to a California court by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has managed several of the high-profile cases challenging Obama's eligibility to be president.
Then yesterday, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., raised the dispute to the floor of that august body, protesting in a speech added to the Congressional Record that the dispute was not worth one minute of time.

Any evidence at all of any prenatal, natal, or neonatal care of any kind? Any doctor? Any nurse? Just one name? (Crickets.)
Gosh, Andy, is it just us??
He was adopted by his stepfather.
I'm a genealogist myself (member of the D.A.R.) I can personally attest that you NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES display ANY living person's vital records where they may be publicly viewed!!!!
Even in genelogical FILES you ALWAYS report 'still living' or 'living' with no other information. This protects against identify theft and it protects you (the genealogist) against any possible legal action by the person who's 'identity' you publicly posted.
The fact that a LIVING person's vital record was prominently displayed on a public website was my first clue that something was fishy.
. . . . and probably used his Indonesian citizenship later for all kinds of perks as a student, etc., etc.
Bingo! This whole Bomford thing smells. He didn’t know it was there (interview transcript). He was clueless and obviously isn’t the one who provided “his” BC. No one else could have. It’s fake.
I love TD! :)
“He was clueless. . . .”
Or was putting on a clueless act, not realizing that it was a giveaway!
Thanks for that ping to post 203.
Great post (203).
Hey y’all,
TD has positive ID on Sir Edward F. Lavender, Kenya registrar 1961!!
I got this from discussion on another thread. The statement was that the image was not in the cached version and that no changes have occurred since 2006.
But, analysis of this image has also shown that it was created using an application that left a watermark in the image stream - Lead Technologies

Also in a prior thread, the individual who "found" this is a colorful character who has been banned from FR multiple times as a troll. Moreso, think about this concept, someone borrows a Aussie BC and keeps easy things to replace the same that mark the created document as a forgery, but goes through the trouble to mistakenly pick a Period just when there would be maximum controversy about the date and yet get the hospital, locations, jurisdictions, and logos right.
Folks have speculated that the divorce forced this timing if the Kenyan BC were real, but why do this if it was intended to be a forgery? Why not pick a date in 1965? or 1961? But, to pile more onto the improbability of Bomford vs. Kenyan BC being the original, the Kenyan BC is on paper and has been examined by a document examiner, whereas, Bomford is only known to us electronically. Also, many have noted that Bomford seems to have been printed on the wrinkled paper rather than being folded after printing, as the wrinkles surprising don't distort the letters which are sharp and clear rather than showing the effects of the folding process.
The stupidest document examiner in the world can see melted toner or inkjet ink on paper with a simple loop magnifying lens. If the Kenya BC is a fraud taken from Bromford, someone spent alot of money doing it, and if they were going to do that, why not start with a Kenyan BC rather than an Aussie BC.
People forget that the Bomford supporters are asserting that the Bomford image and the Kenyan BC are equivalent documents but they are not, one is physical and it must be taken seriously unless and until it is completely vetted.
If the Bomford document were to show up on paper, it would be just as suspicious until we see a comparable BC from Australia.
However, we also have the DU people saying they were going to flood the field with forgeries to make our heads spin and this comes some days after that announcement by someone who holds himself out as a document expert, at least in his own mind.
nail on the head.
Michael Kondwani Bomford (pictured on David Bomford (from Australia's) facebook page, is a "post-carbon" eco-leftist who appears to have hated Bush and now he certainly claims to love Obama, Biden, and a local democrat dude.

The geneology file is no longer available online, but the relationship is very close.

Who better to forge the Kenyan document than the people who had the Australian doc already buried deep in their family geneology file? That document was outed just in time to discredit the Kenyan one.
I have a difficult time believing a random person found the Aussie doc. It had no written references to its existence -- text references are what generally show up when one does a google search for images. Can anyone else think of how this image was found at random?
"DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: I'm not particularly worried about it because no-one would honestly believe that anyone like me would be involved in it - just a grey-haired old guy sitting in a corner in quiet old Adelaide."
Does he look like a grey-haired old guy? Sure, we're all a bit gray at 50, but it seems a little too innocent-sounding for me. HOWEVER, it's still possible that these leftists are innocent, but were targeted by Koyaan, the poster at Politijab who claims to have found the Australian document. He's a trollish COLB 'debunker' who might have found them and decided to make their lives miserable.
Sure its a joke..... but he filled in part of it and what it said was he has fantasies of being a master forger....
Thats my only point on that
I’m not particularly confused. I see what’s going on. Patience and perseverance.
IT makes sense if you are looking at the document that with the EF, not the KF
Let the leftists sweat a bit?
Pissant, I really doubt the K.F. business. I enlarged the image I have, and because of the resolution issues, the E and the K were both plausible readings for that mushy character, even in the same view. It would change from one to another when I would squint. Same thing with the 0 and the 6. I think this stuff about another Kenya document file with K and 6 is a red herring.
This whole thing is about a PHOTO????????
This lawyer Orly only has a PHOTO??????????
That is not an actual document. She will be thrown out of court. Sheesh.
I’m looking at the 341 KB JPEG.
