They are taking the first steps to get more people using public transportation or riding bikes as in other third world countries.

So the Volvo was a C4C trade-in and that was the dealer (or his employees) disabling the vehicle...? I see that the 2000 Volvo S80 is on the C4C eligibility list, but the vehicle they tanked looked brand new.

FDR did a similar thing in the 30’s by destroying livestock to drive up the price of meat. All the while, people were malnourished and hungry in parts of the country.

I actually got tears in my eyes after watching that.

I look after my vehicles and have one over 230,000 miles and my current car has almost 170,000. Both run as smooth as the day they were new.

The current administration needs the same as they gave this poor car.

It may have looked new but it was a very nasty gas guzzler and the emissions it put out were enough to kill us all, just a plan evil evil car

The engine on that Volvo sounded perfectly fine before the poured silicate reached all the internals to ruin it...in a spray of motor oil, no less.
This wasteful program is disgusting on all levels.
