I actually got tears in my eyes after watching that.

I look after my vehicles and have one over 230,000 miles and my current car has almost 170,000. Both run as smooth as the day they were new.

The current administration needs the same as they gave this poor car.

Same here. I actually looked into the program for hubby's 1999 GMC crewcab w/~250,000 miles on it (mine is a 2005 GMC crewcab with 98,000 miles) as he hit a 6 point buck on the way to work last week and it qualified, but I couldn't bear the thought of trading such a dependable vehicle in for a clown car. She is now in the shop getting a $2800 face lift courtesy of GEICO.

Its not about how well they run. The enviros have decided that your older car is killing the planet so they have convinced Obama to give away your tax dollars so someone else can use it to buy a new car. See, you do the economically responsible thing and maintain your car for extended use, some yahoo gets your tax dollars to splurge on a new vehicle. Coming soon...the new vehicle repossession crisis...is GMAC to be the new Freddie Mac?
