Joseph Farah : Why I doubt Kenyan birth document
WorldNetDaily ^ | August 3, 2009 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 08/04/2009 6:15:41 AM PDT by RobinMasters

I bet that got your attention.

For 24 hours, I have been deluged with e-mail – about 6,000 more than usual – that essentially fall into three categories:

- Thank you for getting the goods on Barack Obama – I knew he was born in Kenya.

- You really stepped in it this time, Farah. That document is bogus and it's going to take the whole "birther" movement down once it is revealed as such.

- Don't you investigate the facts before you publish something? That document cannot be real because of X, Y and Z.

Because so many Americans have been educated in government schools, it is probably necessary for me to explain that reporting a news story is different than making an assertion.

No one at WND – not me, not Jerome Corsi, not any columnists, not any reporters – have defended the authenticity of the Kenyan birth certificate. No one here has made a judgment that it is real. What we did was report a fact – that California attorney Orly Taitz has filed a motion in federal court to determine its authenticity.

IS WND backing off the BC story? Pressure from obozo-the-joker?

check out posts 4 & 5...post #4 shows that the Australian BC used two different number “1’s” for the Aussy’s birthdate.

A breakdown in post 5 is also quite intriguing.

Since it is apparently rather easy to counterfeit a birth certificate and put it on the internet, we have to assume that all of these birth certificates are fake. All of them. The only way to clear this up is for Obama to have the State of Hawaii release all the "vital documents" they have related to his birth registration. He also needs to allow Kenya to release any information they may have as well.

Failure to come clean is nothing less than stonewalling.

Obama is hiding something. Obviously. He is clearly HIDING his birth records, along with just about everything related to his life.

Quoting the article, “The Kenyan document could be real. I haven’t seen a single disqualifying error pointed out in the last 24 hours.”

Obviously, the document is suspect because IT HAD NO DISQUALIFYING ERRORS.

(crickets chirping)

One way to kill this story is to purposefully put out a fake certificate and watch the debate.

In the public interest, Obama should stop this debate and clear the air. Obviously, he’s not doing that for a couple of possible reasons.

Yes, I read the quote in the story. It appears to be the first step is stepping away from, at the very least, Dr. Taitz.

Anyone could march into a Hawaii public health department office and say he or she had a baby, fill out a form with the pertinent details, sign it and there would be no questions asked. That unverified procedure, by one "parent," would result in the generation of a certification of live birth – and, by the way, newspaper announcements in the local papers.

Well exactly.

Whatever, the BC issue continues to grow, almost exponentially.
While, I consider myself a birther, I am not overly
wrapped up in it, and not spending too much time on the
purported BCs, the fakes, or the fakes of fakes that seem to be breading like flies.

I have always focused on and said that Obama should
end the debate by releasing his birth certificate.
I have never been given a reason from either side
as to why he refuses to do so, other then that it does not exist, or has very damning information.

I wish WND had handled this a little better.

I have a huge problem with one key part.

They state, “WND was able to obtain other birth certificates from Kenya for purposes of comparison, and the form of the documents appear to be identical. “

They totally fail to post an image of any of the documents they used for comparison.

The fail to say whether any of the documents they used for comparison were dated prior to Dec 12th, 1964.

A key question, since it’s strange that the document would have a header and seal saying “REPUBLIC OF KENYA” 10 months before Kenya became a Republic.

If they could show an image of another BC copy before Dec 12th 1964 it would resolve this question and dramatically improve the chances it was real. If all the comparison docs were after this date they should say so.

It’s a couple days now after their story and they still haven’t updated on these points despite being asked... What’s going on guys?

The Australian BC is a fake. Look closely at the Date and place of birth. 10th April, 1959. The number “1” in the 10th and the number “1” in 1959 are different. Who knew that a typewriter in 1962 had two different number ones.

I said that because the burden of proof fulls onto the ones with the Kenyan BC...

Will a judge allow a demand for a real Hawaii BC as evidence to back up the refute from Obama ???

Or say he doesnt need to produce one ???

Farah is simply reaffirming what he has already reported.

Simply stated, those who have said that Farah or Taitz have declared it authentic are lying. Its a typical leftist tactic of putting words in the mouth of another and attacking those words in an attempt to avoid the real issue.
