The son of actor Michael Douglas was arrested in New York for possessing a massive amount of crystal meth with intent to distribute it, law enforcement sources said this evening.
Cameron Douglas, 30, was busted on July 28 at the Gansevoort Hotel by a DEA task force, the sources said.
The bust stemmed from an undercover operation that determined Douglas had allegedly had a half-a-pound of the drug.

That kid...Hardly a kid at 30....the man should know better than to be messing with drugs...yet, as posted above, his rich daddy will get him a rich lawyer who'll probably be able to keep his butt out of the slammer...unlike many others who will do time because they don't have rich daddies to pay for expensive lawyers...such is the way...in the US of A.

IIRC, Michael had a half brother who died due to drug abuse a few years ago. I hate to see any life wasted. I sincerely hope that the guy turns his it around.

In the picture in the Post, the kid looks like the straight one. The father looks like (1) his suit came from Goodwill, (2) he has slept in it, and (3) he had just come off a knee-crawling drinking session.
