WASHINGTON – Fox News Channel host Bill O'Reilly invited WND Editor Joseph Farah on his show tonight to discuss eligibility questions surrounding Barack Obama, then backed out when the guest insisted on sticking to facts and conducting a civil discourse with no shouting.
O'Reilly producer Ron Mitchell contacted Farah Sunday night asking if he could be on the program tonight. Farah replied that he was available and that details could be worked out with his publicist, Maria Sliwa.
In turn, Sliwa presented Mitchell with a short list of criteria for Farah's appearance: Though a sober and civil discourse is always welcome, shouting is not;
No other guests on during the segment with Mr. Farah;
Discussion to be limited to the facts of the story;
Accurate, approved description of Mr. Farah and news organization he represents;
Screen ID chyron to be approved by Mr. Farah.
In turn, Mitchell replied that he would have to "discuss his requests with Bill."
Two hours later, the reply from Mitchell came back: "I'm afraid that is not going to work for us."

He will then come on “The Factor,” and say he refused to show up. If he does, then he is totally dishonest.

In the end, this whole issue is a simple thing to put to rest. I have a passport and a birth certificate. I can produce them at my house in a matter of minutes. I have not spent a million dollars to either acquire them...or to hide them.
This is not a unreasonable thing to ask for since being a "natural born citizen" of the US is a constitutional requirement for the job of President. It's not hateful, and it's not racist.
Proving that you are should be an honor.
Yet Obama cannot and will not produce either. Why?

The surprising thing is, that all the libs hate him. But if you actually pay attention to his themes and the messages that he lets his guests get away with, I think the guy’s a screamin’ libtard.
His favorite African-American professor, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, was on shortly after the election and slipped in that he supported a 100% inheritance tax. O’Reilly completely ignored the comment, almost supported it.
They really should get rid of O’Reilly. He should join CNN or MSNBC.
Exactly the same argument I used on my lib sister.
I told her that I could go to my home and have my birth certificate (copy) in 4 hours (I was visiting).
I told her I could drive to my birthplace of Kalamazoo (YeaaaH!) and see the original within a week.
I asked if she though that PROVING a requirement for president was just too harsh.
We’ll be watching, O’Reilly. If you say Farah refused to appear or declined your invitation, we’ll know you’re a LIAR!
Why did you decline him O’Reilly? Because he wouldn’t allow you to shout him down you di-sinvited him?

Absolutely: He is a closet leftist but masqurades as a conservative. He loves to be with fellow leftist A. Colmes and others of that ilk. His ego is only superseded by his BIG MOUTH! I would love to get him off Fox and over to CNN where he would be with his friends. Haven’t watch OReilly since he defamed the Swift Boat Vets.
I had noticed for a long time how he would create a false left and right so he could take a false middle, its his schtick. And how he would suddenly start soft-pedaling when he was trying to get someone to come on his show.
But after the the episode with the Swifties, I tuned him out for good. He’s done similar things since, I’m aware, from reading about it here. But thats the only way I know what he’s up to is to read it here. If he’s on, I’m turning the channel.
Please think about this. How much have any of the Fox commentators had to say about the birth certificate issue that was positive? Coulter, Malkin, Beck, Hannity, Shep, Geraldo, Juan Williams, Cavuto, Ingram,...etc?
Sorry...But the Fox management has shut down discourse on the birth certificate story. ( Wimps!)
