For about a year now there has been a great deal of debate about whether or not President Barack Obama is truly a natural born American citizen. According to the Constitution, Article 2, Sec. 1, “No person except a natural born citizen…shall be eligible to the office of president.” The Obama campaign and administration have always claimed that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. A Certificate of Live Birth was presented by the Obama campaign showing that Obama is an American citizen[1]; however, Hawaiian law didn’t require Obama to actually have been born in Hawaii in order to obtain this registration.[2] This, among other things, has created a public outcry – from a group now referred to as “birthers” – for Obama to show his long form birth certificate, which would disclose information such as which hospital he was born in, who delivered him, etc. that would solidify the fact that he actually was born in America. The Obama campaign and administration have failed to present this document to anyone. Instead, they have been suppressing the issue using two tactics: hiring lawyers to defend him against the legal dilemma – such as lawyer Perkins Coie, who was paid $688,316[3] – and creating the ignorant propaganda, repeated by many liberals, that anyone who questions Obama’s eligibility is weird, crazy or racist. The liberal mainstream media has propagated the latter tactic through news broadcasts, such as Nightly News with Brian Williams, which incorrectly assert that Obama has proven his eligibility.[4]

Perhaps this should be touted as the read deal and let O and his people play defense on it and disprove it.
It moved beyond the “birth certificate” issue when he began stonewalling on releasing his long form. This is now about transparency and the fact that such a simple request can be met with scorn and outrage by the liberal media. We now see the liberal machine in motion defending what should be a simple matter.
It is completely illogical that such effort would be amassed to protect a document that every person on this forum is/has shown at one time or another. It is no longer about the COLB it is about the rule of law and the blatant disregard for it and the media’s complicity in the matter.
If we can’t trust the media to vet our leaders like they do Hollywood celebrities then they are nothing more than a form of entertainment and devoid of value.
That would backfire BIG time.

The Kenyan Imposter story is obviously not over. Actually, it is a good tactic to raise doubts about Obamachev. At a minimum, maybe he’ll release the other vital documents he has locked up.
It’s suspicious that there is so much energy expended to kill this story. I don’t believe for a second that it is to prevent the discrediting or marginalization of the right.

The problem I’m seeing is not related to Google’s search functionality, but to their corporate-oriented web-filtering and security service.
All I KNOW is that no honest person would spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal fees fighting numerous lawsuits in numerous states when a simple $12.50 Birth Certificate would suffice.

I don’t think you see the implications that this has for us.You are making it so so easy for the MSM to discredit us and there are millions on the fence out there who just “don’t know the truth “ but will see our real issues in light of this stupid waste of time. Not a good way to attract support.

Obama and his minions are hoping the birthers will go away. If they stop, then Obama wins another one. We need to finish what we start. Quitters never win.
My point is that if Taitz has done preliminary investigations on this document and has not yet found reason to reject it, then make O’s team prove it wrong. Put them on the defensive. Make them move and take action.
If it was up to me, someone would have already chased down the loose ends that were discussed on yesterdays’ long thread before it hit the internet.
Hopefully Taitz did.
And, what if we get (which will never happen) irrefutable, guaranteed, authentic PROOF that he's an illegal alien...what do you think will happen? I'll tell you what will happen: NOTHING! This issue will go nowhere in this Congress nor will any legal challenge be heard by the soon-to-be Sotomayor-added Supreme Court. Therefore it is and will remain a dead horse...so why keep beating it?
