Birthers Proven Right: Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate Found

For about a year now there has been a great deal of debate about whether or not President Barack Obama is truly a natural born American citizen. According to the Constitution, Article 2, Sec. 1, “No person except a natural born citizen…shall be eligible to the office of president.” The Obama campaign and administration have always claimed that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. A Certificate of Live Birth was presented by the Obama campaign showing that Obama is an American citizen[1]; however, Hawaiian law didn’t require Obama to actually have been born in Hawaii in order to obtain this registration.[2] This, among other things, has created a public outcry – from a group now referred to as “birthers” – for Obama to show his long form birth certificate, which would disclose information such as which hospital he was born in, who delivered him, etc. that would solidify the fact that he actually was born in America. The Obama campaign and administration have failed to present this document to anyone. Instead, they have been suppressing the issue using two tactics: hiring lawyers to defend him against the legal dilemma – such as lawyer Perkins Coie, who was paid $688,316[3] – and creating the ignorant propaganda, repeated by many liberals, that anyone who questions Obama’s eligibility is weird, crazy or racist. The liberal mainstream media has propagated the latter tactic through news broadcasts, such as Nightly News with Brian Williams, which incorrectly assert that Obama has proven his eligibility.[4]

My Civics class taught us that the Constitution meant that to be a natural-born citizen meant that you had to be born on US soil and that included military installations outside the US if both (?) parents were US citizens.

Actually, it's possible to authenticate it without the finding the original BC. A clerk's log or other tracking means for this document could be used for authentication. A first hand statement, as in Mr. Lavender, an issuer would be a powerful enough for a judge to allow it as evidence. And a body of experts who agree that the document is authentic.

And the BC in question has a reference to a line item entered in a book.

I would think that McCain would become president since he is the only one who was qualified at the time of the election.

Is Obama a natural born citizen? Is he even a citizen? He certainly doesn't sound like one: 57 states... one more to go.... and he thiunks Japan dropped the bomb on Pearl Harbor.

Dan w, everything you said was NOT accurate. Do a little research, I have. US soil is only the 50 states & territories such as Puerto Rico. Military bases and embassies are NOT US soil. The fact of McCain’s father being in the military makes NO DIFFERENCE. You are talking about plain old citizenship. McCain is a “citizen at birth” because his parents were both US citizens when he was born (makes no difference whether they were born in US or naturalized citizens,)WHERE (not on US soil)exactly he was born, military base or not, canal zone or not, DOESN’T MATTER. The retroactive law that was passed for US canal zone would have given McCain citizenship as well but he didn’t need it. but NATURAL BORN HE IS NOT. not that it matters now. I used to think being born in a foreign US embassy made you an American citizen, IT DOESN’T. Ya don’t know, what ya don’t know.

The fancy "type ball" Selectrics appeared in USPS circa 1969. There's an earlier device with the same name but with no "type ball" that was in wide circulation earlier, but not throughout the government except in top level appointee's offices.

When I arrived on the scene (as a government employee in DC) the federal government workers used electric typewriters ~ but I'd had better already in highschool.

Being born in an embassy abroad doesn't give you citizenship (all by itself), but by treaty that embassy is considered US soil (by the foreign government).

Two concepts, one building, different people ~ don't mix conclusions about what "US Soil" is about.

Law, custom and USSC decisions have provided little information about what "natural born" means. Now "native born", a whole 'nuther item, assumes "soil" to have relevance.

You ‘Birthers’ are a determined bunch, but until you have some facts, you’re just a bunch of kooks. Just ask Ann Coulter.

In the end, I really do hope you are successful and good luck finding the truth... but it may be staring you right in the face.

My only scary thought is would we have a “President Biden”??...OH my God, how do you clean up this mess??? Just a thought. Or was the risk worth putting them in power??

My focus has been HR3200....the Committe that had Amendments to appease the Blue Dogs has refused to put a copy on internet or release a copy, and say they won’t do it during August Recess...this is UNAMERICAN. I’m concerned they will vote on it in Congress, and not publish it until it is passed,,,,if they do, that is going to tick off millions of people.

For the above reason, the birth certificate should continually be pursued, and some warrants issued if verified authentic. CONSPIRACY to commit FRAUD against the American people, and violation of the Consitution are starters....the problem is “WHO” is going to do the arrest.

OH, and now with Clinton in N. Korea, it is obvious WHY the China Delegation was here last week, and noone would report on it, and Prof Gates and Sgt Crawley were the distraction.
The question was staged, and the national spotlight diverted purposely to race, imho.
