For about a year now there has been a great deal of debate about whether or not President Barack Obama is truly a natural born American citizen. According to the Constitution, Article 2, Sec. 1, No person except a natural born citizen
shall be eligible to the office of president. The Obama campaign and administration have always claimed that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. A Certificate of Live Birth was presented by the Obama campaign showing that Obama is an American citizen[1]; however, Hawaiian law didnt require Obama to actually have been born in Hawaii in order to obtain this registration.[2] This, among other things, has created a public outcry from a group now referred to as birthers for Obama to show his long form birth certificate, which would disclose information such as which hospital he was born in, who delivered him, etc. that would solidify the fact that he actually was born in America. The Obama campaign and administration have failed to present this document to anyone. Instead, they have been suppressing the issue using two tactics: hiring lawyers to defend him against the legal dilemma such as lawyer Perkins Coie, who was paid $688,316[3] and creating the ignorant propaganda, repeated by many liberals, that anyone who questions Obamas eligibility is weird, crazy or racist. The liberal mainstream media has propagated the latter tactic through news broadcasts, such as Nightly News with Brian Williams, which incorrectly assert that Obama has proven his eligibility.[4]

Looks like it was done in Microsoft Word just like the Bush memos."
Hardly. The document contains what are clearly type written entries on a pre-printed form. It came from Kenya in 1961, not 1691. They clearly had access to printed forms and type writers. Also, unlike the Bush memos - this is not a "one off" document. It will be easy to see if other Kenyan BC's look like this one.
I agree that this should be approached cautiously. But the publication of this document does seem to change the momentum on this issue.
Methinks thou protest too much.
Nothing wrong with digging for truth.
You dig in your yard and let others dig in theirs.
Anything that grows is just fine.
Don’t diss my daisys and I won’t pee on your petunias.
It would be inconceivable that "nothing" would happen. There would be a HUGE political implication the LEAST of which would be a massive reduction in Obama's creds and, therefore, his political capital.
However, let me also say, for evil to triumph, all it takes is for good people to do nothing. We must pursue truth because it is the right thing to do.
Is that Pica font?
Check out the big brain on DomeNOnads!
If Orly Taitz truly has "the document," and it's proven as such, then great. If it's otherwise false, it makes us look like loons.
Accepting a President with a shadowy past makes us loons. Where are all his documents?
Great finds.
Nice find.
domenads' hysteria on this is flawed and defies the laws of logic. Pursuing the truth on the BC issue does not mean we cannot pursue other issues or promote ideas. It is not an either-or proposition.
The irony is domenonads spends all his time discouraging rather than inspiring and people who do that usually have very little ability to inspire people about any idea.
I don’t understand why Ms. Taitz subpoened Clinton - unless Ms. Taitz has some info in hand directly linking Clinton to this Republic of Kenya birth cert copy.
IMHO this is a hot potato and would be a HUGE political mistake to press this issue as:
1. The MSM (as well as "friendly" to conservative media types such as Bill O'Reilly and Laura Ingram) have pooh-poohed this as bogus conspiratorial nonsense.
2. It marginalizes conservatives as racially bias kooks who wanted to dethrone the first "barack" president at any cost.
3. It is damned hard to prove and now a "he said, h\we said" snafu...as officials in Hawaii have claimed and official BC and there is also a 60s birth announcement in the "Hawaii Advertiser" to boot.
4. Obama will use the issue to gin up sympathy about his legitimacy
If there was really irrefutable evidence, Hillary would have used it against him in the Dim primaries.
No disrespect or offense intended as I too would like to know the real truth...but, then again, I'd like to know the real truth about Vince Foster's supposed suicide. IOW, it is a dead horse and there is no sense in beating it!
what's up with that, I wonder?
“Its suspicious that there is so much energy expended to kill this story.”
Agreed. The “doth protest too much” factor is ramped up on this story like no other, and that IS suspicious. They’ve even got Bill Maher on it with his patented you-are-beneath-contempt treatment.
Here’s 2 cents for you: The document appears to be genuine. So let’s see if it catches the conscience of the “king”.
It “tweaks” me, as you say, because people asked for the birth certificate, it was produced, and we’re still talking about it. It’s conspiracy theory, and it’s distracting from real political growth. Who joins a party or votes for a candidate with this kind of issue front and center?
“Heres 2 cents for you”
I detest the smarmy Maher. How he survives on HBO is beyond me.
Alinsky rules...ridicule, works two ways =) The Kenyan Imposter cannot laugh at himself egomaniac self. Did you see the Kenyan joker poster? It’s going to go viral.
Anyway, I see you're taking alot of heat on this thread, so I'm not going to give you any more. But your point has been made and decimated 10,000 times in the last two days.
