Is it possible that clinton knew about something that should have been reported to someone?

Many have speculated that she was on the track of something but was either bought off or pressured off or both.

I think it might be because Clinton is Secretary of State. Requesting Kenya to validate the BC is a diplomatic issue, not a bureaucratic one.
