I’m very sorry to hear that. I wish him well. It’s helpful that he has an excellent health package.

I don’t wish that on him, my hope for him was that he would spend the rest of his life sharing a jail cell with Barney Frank.

Less than 1 in 8 men who have prostate cancer die of prostate cancer.

Are they gonna pull a toricelli since he can’t win reelection?

Yeah, much better than the average American will be allowed to have. Does he really have cancer or is he going for the sympathy vote? I just don’t trust the ‘rats. They will say and do anything to push their agenda and stay in power.

SO why this announcement? For sympathy in preparation for a re-election run?

Wonder what kind of healthcare he will get in prison? Do congress critters get to keep their lifetime cushy private healthcare when they go to prison?

Dodd’s cancer is not life threatening, but that will not stop him from trying to get as many sympathy votes as he can.

THE MAN SHOULD BE IN JAIL!

He can rest up in his Irish cottage after we retire him.

While that sucks for him, my only wish is that they pass health care reform WITHOUT the EXEMPTION for themselves. It would be the ultimate irony that the thing deemed to save the serfs, dooms the oligarchs.

Sympathy ploy or the seeding (NPI) of a reason to withdraw from public life? After all, he has a great retirement home.

>SO why this announcement?

My guess, and I mean this seriously, is that it's so his constituents will "leave him alone to rest" during the August recess -- so that he doesn't have to answer to them about so-called healthcare "reform."

While I don’t think very much of Christopher Dodd as a human being, I would not wish that on anyone.

Prayers for him and his family.

Can we send him to Canada for treatment, I hear they have a really good success rate for treating cancer. Canada’s heath care system is the best in the world. Or so I have been told over and over again.

“Less than 1 in 8 men who have prostate cancer die of prostate cancer.” That depends on if you liver in a country that has universal health care. There it’s closer to 1 in 2.

This is no big deal. I had it too. John F*ng Kerry and I both had it removed on the same day years ago and we're both still here.

Don't you try for the sympathy vote Dodd. Try crying racism if this don't work. You should be in jail not the Senate.
