"If we get a good public option it could lead to single payer,” Frank said. “The best way to get single payer — the only way — is to have a public option and demonstrate the strength of its power.”

Yes, let us listen to Barney Frank. Oh, wasn’t he the same guy who had oversight of Freddie Mac, and Sallie Mae. I wonder how that went? So far not so good!! They were 2 of the biggest reasons for our current economic problems.

If these idiots in Congress believe that what they are proposing for health care for the rest of us is so great, then why don’t they show us how great it is by putting their own health care in that boat????

=============Fleming’s resolution would require lawmakers who vote for legislation creating a government-run health program to join it.=============

I’m sure that Fleming introduced this legislation in order to make a point, and does not seriously expect it to pass. It was a great move on his part. I’ll keep watching for information on how this pans out. Thanks for the link.

Amazing quotes from Democrats in this YouTube video. They spell out their strategy of changing the US health care system to a single payer system.

Single payer health care is the goal.

Pain killers cost money, taking many pain killers costs even more money. We in the government are opposed to wasting money, therefore, your request for relief is DENIED.

I love the confrontation between some pro health care Obummer sipporter at a town hall meeting and a questioner who asked, “If this health care bill is so damn good will you give up your current health care plan to take on the one you are forcing the rest of us to take?”

The heck with them merely signing up!

The Congress should FIRST mandate the “plan” that they’re proposing for other Americans apply to ALL OF THEM and ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES for at least five years, and then allow us to sign up for that same plan, and at the same cost.

Franks is backing up the editorial by IBD saying this is exactly the Democrat tactic. It's an excellent article BTW.

"Leading Democrats can claim that a government takeover isn't in the cards, but the party's base has different ideas. It's waiting for an opening, and the public option would give it one."
