VITAL STATISTICS OF THE UNITED STATES 1961 at
http://www.nber.org/vital-statistics/historical/nat61_1.CV.pdf
says on page 231 under the section "Race and color" the following:
"Births in the United States in 1961 are classified for vital statistics into white, Negro, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Aleut, Eskimo, Hawaiian and Part-Hawaiian (combined), and "other nonwhite."
"The category "white" includes, in addition to persons reported as "white," those reported as Mexican or Puerto Rican. With one exception, a reported mixture of Negro with any other race is included in the Negro group; other mixed parentage is classified according to the race of the nonwhite parent and mixtures of nonwhite races to the race of the father. The exception refers to a mixture of Hawaiian and any other race, which is classified as Part-Hawaiian. In most tables a less detailed classification of "white" and "nonwhite" is used."
Obama's "Certification of Live Birth" shows father's race as "African". That word was not used in 1961 to describe race.
You can draw your own conclusion.
. With the addtional caviat that one of the parents is indeed African.
Curiouser and curiouser...
And not only does each state issue a birth certificate to each individual born in that state on request, they get that information from the form that is filled out at the time of a persons birth at which ever hospital they are born in, or treated in immediately following birth if the mother doesn't make it to a hospital. Time and date and signature of attending physician is recorded, as well as mothers name father etc. or whatever info the mother provides.
A copy of this is given to the mother, the hospital keeps a copy, and another is sent to the department of vital statistics. It is your only proof of citizenship.
The reason Obama could only provide a (forged one at that) COLB, is because Obama was not born in a hospital in Hawaii, he was in fact born elsewhere(Kenya is the most likely place considering the amount of evidence pointing in that direction, including the village which claims to be Obama's birth place, and his Kenya grandmothers recolections.) Because of the laws that existed at the time, Obama's mother could not automatically transfer American citizenship to Obama, because she had him in his fathers country. That's why only A COLB could be issued in Hawaii when she returned to Hawaii. In a sane world with a sane truthful media, this alone is proff Obama was not born in the USA, and therefore not qualified to hold office.
Interesting...hadn't thought of that one. Certainly possible as he is 50% white, and something like 44 or 43 % Arabic African and 6 or 7% Black African.
Plus a real COLB would not be issued on the day of his birth, it would be issued sometime after the fact.

“reminds me of the wrong font memo rather-gate case.”
Ah, good times! Walked on air for days:)
It’s interesting how this whole thing is a “done deal” to many; and those many think that “birthers” are kooks. Yet it’s small details like this that put even MORE doubt into his citizenship.
If OdumbO’s long form is a type2 BC, then Durhams might have listed African as sounding more high class than negro.
Lol. Exactly right. She’s much more of an authentic full blooded African than Obama.
A hospital's notification of the authorities might well be broken down into official racial categories. Those for the family may just reflect what the family tells the clerk.
2) Hawaii always went its own way so far as race was concerned. That's because it's racial make-up was so different from the rest of the country. There wasn't the White vs. Black thing that so gripped other parts of the country.
In Hawaiian censuses from 1950 or 1960 you find race listed as "Chinese," "Filipino," "Japanese," "Hawiian" or "Part-Hawaiian," "Portuguese," or "Puerto Rican," as well as "White" and "Black" (or "Caucasian" and "Negro"). "African" would not have looked at all out of place in that company.
3) People say "Negro" was the ordinary term in 1961 and wasn't considered offensive. Sure, but if you were a White grandparent and your daughter had just given birth to a half-African child, you'd might be more likely to refer to your grandchild and his father as "African" than "Negro." It would have more status.
4) Is it a rule short form birth certification precisely repeats the categories on the original long form birth certificate? If your original birth certificate had read "colored" or "Negro" isn't it possible that your computer generated short form certification might read "African-American"?
“”The United States” does not issue birth certificates.
But don’t let that little fact get in the way of insanity.”
Ha ha. Good point.
It doesn't matter what others say. If it turns into a matter of law all Obama has to say is that he can't help what some well intentioned overzealous staffer did. There's going to be one low level staffer that will fall on his sword.
Negros or colored. Black was sometimes considered perjorative. African was reserved for actual Africans from Africa.
I have several copies of my birth certificate from 1940s.
The first copy of the origional is in negative with words, lines and signatures in white. with an impressed seal. It also has extra info not on the later forms.
The second, from the 1980s has a words and lines in green on white and engraved looking form with official impressed seal.
The third from the late 1990s ( for a CMP rifle)is a bigger
sheet with more formal writing and still the impressed seal.
So certificates can be different depending on what form the Bureau of Vital Statistics uses.
I keep them in a bank security box.
Irrelevant since he was born in 1961. Even so is there a statstic for "African" for race in the Hawaiian censuses for those years? In other words, is there any evidence for what you say or are you offering an opinion?
Add Laura Ingraham to the list.
I disagree completely.
Look no further than his plummeting poll numbers (which undoubtedly are more favorable to him than reality).
Furthermore, the unprecedented (modern day) tea parties have been attended, overwhelmingly, by folks who are not your typical "professional" protesters/college kids.
The majority of people in this country can't stand Barry's politics and it was only a "perfect storm'" that got him "elected."
Massive voter fraud (ACORN), untold millions in foreign money "donated" to his campaign, state run media actively cheerleading for him, large numbers of conservatives staying home because...while McCain is an American war hero, his liberal politics were too much for them to simply 'vote the lesser of the two evils,' the perfectly timed tanking of the economy (Soros, et. al) and on and on.
Contrary to what the state run media spews daily, America is a center right country. Even if Barry somehow alludes being tossed from office for being a fraud, he will lose in 2012 in a landslide (a-la Carter).
