Hawaii contradicts network boss' claim that Obama certificate no longer exists

Directly contradicting CNN chief Jon Klein – who ordered host Lou Dobbs to quit discussing President Obama's birth certificate – the Hawaii Department of Health affirmed that no paper birth certificates were destroyed when the department moved to electronic record-keeping.

"I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department," Janice Okubo, public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, told WND. "When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don't destroy records."

Okubo affirmed that beginning in 2001, all vital records, including birth records, moved to electronic formats.

"Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department," she insisted. "We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have."

With that kind of announcement by the State of Hawaii, it will be next to *impossible* to get a court order to release the birth certificate now. It was the “born in Hawaii” status that was in question. That removes that question from the issue and thus from a court order.

I can see from now on, any judge saying that there is no relevant need to see the birth certificate on the basis that the State of Hawaii has officially announced the birth took place in Hawaii.

Next to impossible?? Will see what happens. Any impartial judge wouldn’t make a decision on this by a statement alone. It might be better if this goes back to being under the radar again.

Well... you should know (or maybe you don’t) that I said all along that these court cases were going nowhere fast. And that’s the reason why I have pushed for the state law. And now, *my estimation* (once again) is that this puts any court order to release it — to *impossible* — whereas before, it was a “long shot”...

And I’m willing to “wait and see” — and see if what I say is true. That’s fine. But, keep in mind, I took a whole lot of heat, way back before Obama was inaugurated for saying that these court cases were going nowhere and would continue to go nowhere Back then I *also said* that I would wait and see. And up to *this present time* — they have gone *nowhere*...

Now... my prediction changes and now I say this is *impossible*... (to get a court order to release the birth certificate)...

I think it is FAR more likely he was adopted in Indonesia by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro:

At the moment it appears Obama is going to get his mulligans like his bad golf game on this issue.

It may take until after he is out of office before laws are instituted to check for the NBC status for presidential candidates.

Yes, I think you may be right the chances are pretty good to get a few states to enact laws to prevent another Obama loophole.

Until then, I'll still argue my points on what constitutes a natural born citizen and push to uncover Obama's hidden past.

Dobbs is well aware that O is dismally unqualified to be President.

That’s not what I heard directly from his mouth, when I watched the show. He specifically made the point that it was *his belief* that Obama was qualified to be President.

I’ll take what I heard him say, rather than your characterization...

Besides at this point, the birth certificate issue looks like it just died today, anyway. Since the State of Hawaii made the pronouncement that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he is a natural-born American citizen... that kills the issue, in addition to confirming what Dobbs said about believing Obama is qualified to be President.
