WASHINGTON, July 27 (UPI) -- The woman leading the movement challenging President Barack Obama's U.S. birth says she's made some high-profile Republican friends on her Facebook page.
Among those who asked to be her friend? Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, House Republican Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia, and Reps. Mary Bono Mack of California and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Politico reported.
"I am in total disbelief and greatly honored," Orly Taitz, a Russian-born dentist-lawyer in Orange County, Calif., wrote on her blog Monday after Cantor appeared as one of her Facebook friends. "To me it means that the leadership of the Republican party understands the importance of the issues and legal cases I brought forward."

I am on record as thinking this is a huge farce, and will apologize ad nauseum if I’m wrong. But I am curious—how about the Birthers if this blows up in our faces and makes the conservative movement look like a bunch of loons?

Why has he spent 900K insuring his birth certificate is never seen?
Why has not a single party or individual or family member ever stepped forward to vouch for his birthplace ( except his paternal grandmother who says she was present in the Coast Hospital in Mombasa Kenya when he was born-—and except his half sister Maya who contradicted his own statement as to which “hospital” he was born in Honolulu)?
Why did he release only a one page summary of his entire medical history (to insure no birth info was revealed)?
Why have his attorneys threatened financial penalty against those who seek release of his Occidental College records? (foreign student aid?)
Why was his passport file ‘cauterized” (which contains birth info) ?
Why are his kindergarten records—— the only ones missing from his class (which contain birth info)?
If you deny his birth, then you deny that he is human. I kind of like that.

The media can take their cameras to Kenya and ask why two of his own family say he was born there and they saw it.

The shell game scam is already in. O certified at the state primary level that he was qualified. However, the paper trail of his history has been sealed or has disappeared. He has spent much effort and money to avoid disclosing evidence he is a citizen.
His attorney told the Hollister court that he placed a certified copy of his BC on the internet when it was a mere certification that was found to be forged.
Not a single person in the United States can say he is a citizen.

The Truthers thought Bush had something to do with 9-11. Within two years of their yammering and protesting, they convinced at least 35% of their fellow Demonrats it was true. What happened next??? A Congressional takeover of massive proportions. Birthers at least have solid questions regarding Bambi’s eligibility. Truthers had NOTHING to back up their conspiracy. Just a hatred for Bush. And it paid off eventually.

If one will just say "Oh, Snopes, forget it," that's no more convincing than the "evidence" I've seen from the birthers.

If this whole thing is shown to be a farce, it will be quite damaging to conservatives, and we'll have made a wonderful opening for the RINOs to pick up the anti-Obama momentum.
The COLB issue is a distraction. This is a con-man’s game. There are other, bigger issues out there, such as suspicious foreign citizenship claims, etc.
Once the state-run media focuses its attention on the COLB issue, a true, certified, long form version will be produced out of the hospital’s records, as well as a corroborating copy from the Hawaiian territorial records. “Oh, THIS is what you were looking for... Sorry, here you go.”
This will forever put the COLB issue to bed.
It will also eliminate any future possibility of a challenge to the legitimate citizenship of the president. I have no doubt that this is where his weakness is, given the concerns that he attended college as a foreign citizen, and the indications that he may have traveled internationally on a non-US passport in the 80’s.
I am not saying that fraudulent documentation will be supplied, I am saying that the true doc’s are being hidden as a mis-direction ploy. If you are looking for one thing (the COLB), then you are not looking for something else (passport and travel doc’s.) Once the true doc’s are supplied, then all of the available bandwidth for public concern over the president’s eligibility will have been consumed, and there will be no more trips to that well. We’ll be stuck with him until he decides to leave.

Please do not forget that Obama himself describes in Dreams of my Father how he used his worn, much cherished birth certficate as a bookmark.
When you think about it, that was a very clever hedge early on to try and put the issue to rest—by acknowledging his “birth certificate” as an anecdotal aside, giving slice of life ‘texture’ to his story—yet it was far more calculated.
Obama and the network invested to put him in place had amibitions-—and he and Ayers, who many feel wrote most of the tome, developed a proactive strategy.
This issue was put to rest by Bill O’Reilly last year. I just heard him say so. ROTFLMAO
What about the social security number Orly supposedly uncovered that Obama used when he was a student ....that of a 119 yr old man living in Connecticut?
She has uncovered multiple SS numbers connected to Obama according to her files.
