Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed?
Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:
The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.
They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.
They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a "community organizer," Illinois state legislator, and Senator.
The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.
Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.

One thing I forgot to mention, just from the “boy, that’s annoying” standpoint. I think I prefer hearing Michelle being hailed as a great fashion icon over having Meghan McCain having the huge megaphone she would have as the first daughter.
Well said! (as usual)
Ping.
“...I have no idea what Obama saw in this moron when giving him the press secretary position...”
I do. He saw a compliant, unapologetic suck-up sycophant that will spin any news he’s told to spin any way he’s told to spin it. Just like 90% of the liberals in this country.
“You can fool all of the people some of the time...”
But you can fool dumbass liberals EVERY time...
especially when they desperately want to believe that, like, you know, “communism isn’t all THAT bad” (as quoted from Whoopi Goldberg)...

Ben’s writing is so straightforward and filled with common sense that it is a fresh breeze cutting through the slugslime of the enemedia. He would be the first to admit, he too was fooled. Time to right the ship and dump the bilge.
The technical term is ‘astroturfing’, or, in the current despicable mode, ‘Axelturfing’. Democrats love to be deceived and Axelrod delivers.
I’m 19 miles away and no, the audience was predetermined and no one gets in that didn’t get a Rick Boucher invitation.
I don’t know if he actually endorsed Obama, but I did notice that his writing in the months leading up to the election was becoming more liberal, proposing tax hikes, etc.
I expect to see Obama come out in his Idi Amin uniform with all the bells and whistles any day now. Seriously.
Hey Bert! Can we get a freep together by Wednesday?
Nice!
Bump for later reading.
Gibbs and Scott McLellan both make me wonder, “How hard is it to hire a decent press secretary?” I mean, as POTUS, you have access to some of the most talented people in the country, plus there’s a great deal of prestige and face time that comes with the position, not to mention tell-all book deals when you quit. I don’t get it. I cringed every time Scott “The Rat” McClellan was on TV, but with Gibbs, I’m glad they have such a nincompoop.
Uh, n00b, this is not freindly Romney country. FR is not a rino site. ... next
When the Jewish Ben Stein refers to Obama with ‘super likeable’, it is kinda like we Southerners starting off a chastisement of someone with ‘Bless your little heart’.
Thank you Ben Stein. No doubt your Hollywood/DC social calender just got freed up a bit. A principled stand can do that for you. ;o)
