Last week, I wrote an open letter to John Kasich, pleading with him to do something about a mentally unstable Jihadist professor at Kent State University. The professor has been linked to terrorist activity such as posting bomb-making instructions on a terrorist website. Hes also posted pleas to use the bombs against American troops. And Ive amassed evidence that he contributed to that terrorist website using his Kent State University computer.
Nonetheless, the professor who should already have been water-boarded, tried, and sentenced continued to taunt me after the article ran last Friday. In fact, on Saturday, he sent me the following email again using his Kent State University computer:
From: jpino@kent.edu
Sent: Sat 7/18/09 9:40 PM
To: adams_mike@hotmail.com
The American soldier who went missing June 30 from his base in eastern Afghanistan and was later confirmed to have been captured, appeared on a video posted Saturday to a Web site by the Taliban The soldier is shown in the 28- minute video with his head shaved and the start of a beard. He is sitting and dressed in a nondescript, gray outfit. Early in the video one of his captors holds the soldier's dog tag up to the camera. His name and ID number are clearly visible. He is shown eating at one point and sitting on a bed
The soldier said the date is July 14. He says he was captured when he lagged behind on a patrol. He is interviewed in English by his captors, and he is asked his views on the war, which he calls extremely hard, his desire to learn more about Islam and the morale of American soldiers, which he said was low.
Pinos email was tame compared to others hes sent to me. But the one he sent to me before that warned President Obama that he would soon need some more coffins sent to the White House. So I published the email in its entirety in my letter to Kasich. And the Secret Service raided Pinos home four days later.
When the Secret Service raided the home of Professor Pino, which is located on Morris Road in Kent, Ohio, it was part of an ongoing investigation, which dates back to 2007. The local Kent paper, when reporting on the Secret Service raid, attributed the origins of the Pino controversy to a blog posted at TownHall.com (by) self-described conservative Mike S. Adams
Actually, that isnt true. I write a column, not a blog. So they are being a little hard on themselves when they say they were beat to the story by a blogger. The columnists who wrote that were only beat to the story by a better columnist with more journalistic integrity and more courage in taking on domestic terrorism. Though, as a disclaimer, I should admit that I own more guns than they do.
Dr. John Jameson, former boss of Jihad Julio Pino, also tried to disparage my reporting when asked (by the real press) whether he knew if Pino was contributing to a terrorist website. Yes (Pino) told me that, Jameson said. Keep in mind the source of this is Adams blog.
Actually, professor Jameson, if Pino told you then he was the source, not Adams blog. Adams doesnt write a blog. Hes just the dude who found out there was terrorist activity going on in your department before you did.
Regardless of the proper terminology, my column/blog/whatever resulted in a federal investigation of Pino. And after Jameson let Pino leave his classes at Kent State and travel to the Middle East during that investigation without proper authorization he got fired.
All in all its been a hell of a week. After beating the real press to a story and helping to get a clueless department chairman fired, I got the Secret Service to raid the home of a terrorist professor.
I think Ill go buy a Glock 10mm, shoot a hog, and send some bacon to Kent, Ohio.
That first story is actually from the Akron Beacon-Journal.
Thanks, I’ll correct my link set.
De nada.
Mike Adams hits the bull’s eye.
Bump for later read.
“Secret Service Raids Professor - Blog This!”

I don’t understand this?????
Was the prof also a veteran?????
“The columnists who wrote that were only beat to the story by a better columnist with more journalistic integrity and more courage in taking on domestic terrorism. Though, as a disclaimer, I should admit that I own more guns than they do.”
Classic Adams. Always worth the read.
Thank you for the bump Squantos.
I hate to burst your bubble (not), but your input into the Pino investigation was likely only a “piece” of what caused the secret service agency to go full force into an investigation of Julio Pino. Here is a post allegedly from Julio Pino:
“Dr. Assad Pino
posted 3/31/09 @ 6:20 PM EST
No, you wouldn’t want to submit to shariah court because it would order you stoned to death for polytheism, i.e., assigning a son to Allah (SWT). Allah has no need of a son, nor of you.
When my mission is completed I will become a shaheed, inshallah. Let my Shahada come at the hands of the murderers of the Prophets (Peace and blessings of Allah be Upon Them All.)”
If you don’t know, Shaheed means holy martyr or suicide bomber and Inshallah means “God Willing”. Shahada is testimony of faith by word or deed.
So,if the post on this website is from Dr. Pino, he is stating he will be a hoty martyr or suicide bomber!!!! Free speech is absolutely to be protected, however, an investigation into this type of statement is definitely necessary.
Unlike Mike Adams, I do believe that Dr. Pino is capable of teaching without enforcing his views on his students through lectures and grading and I do believe in freedom of speech in other forums, even when it is as horrible as his ideas are; however, I also believe that he should be investigated thoroughly in order to check into these statements of intent in a mission as a ‘shaheed’.
Here is a link to the entire forum article where Dr. Pino speaks of Jihad as an important and proper means. http://www.kentnewsnet.com/home/index.cfm?event=displayArticleComments&ustory_id=693073c3-b1ff-4be9-8a98-58f60f5c2861#a7c0f2d4-3dd1-4a93-a43b-eb53cde23ecc
