Home secretary will fight shock jock defamation case

Jacqui Smith will fight a defamation case against her by right wing US 'shock jock Michael Savage, after she banned him from entering the country.

Mr Savage, real name Michael Weiner, was on a list of those barred from entering the UK out of concern he may foster hatred.

"I am living in fear and have had to employ security guards after being outrageously named on this list of terrorists and killers," he said.

"I have no idea what criminal acts they refer to in their press release. They have refused to explain, despite our requests."

Also featured on the list of barred individuals are Ku Klux Kaln representative Stephen Donald Black and Hamas MP Yunis Al-Astal.

"As the home secretary has already said, he was excluded for engaging in unacceptable behaviour by making comments that might provoke others to serious criminal acts and foster hatred that might lead to inter-community violence," a Home Office spokesman said.

“Shock jock”?

I suppose if you're a cowardly Brit who is used to capitulating to muslims and political correctness 24/7 - then Savage might be considered a “shock jock”.

I believe there is a reason this is not normally done for international differences of opinion about alleged malefactors. Like, where would the suit be brought?

Of course, when Muslim activist, Anjem Choudary, makes such threats from inside the country -- that actually do provoke criminal acts and foster hatred -- the wimpy limeys just let it go.

Tho likely in top five percent for British, she exhibits the typically subpar dental standards in England. If she went to orthodontist, she got poor work, if she didn’t get orthodontics, she should have.

This is what we have to look forward to? :(

If she has to employ security guards it’s more likely due to the outrage caused by her being neck deep in the “expenses scandal.”

She was the one who’s husband (among other things) was charging streaming porn to her government expense account.

It's Michael Savage that has to employ security guards, not her:

"Mr Savage, real name Michael Weiner, was on a list of those barred from entering the UK out of concern he may foster hatred.

"I am living in fear and have had to employ security guards after being outrageously named on this list of terrorists and killers," he said. "

I see. I wonder if, in their warped and twisted thinking, that their listing had a quota attached, of picking at least one of each category of "unacceptable people." Savage fit the "Jew" box to offset the Muslim terrorists, and demonstrate the "fairness" of the process, so they could meet their quota to "balance" the listing.

After all, it is important to appear to be fair in a mad, mad, mad world.

The photo reached by clicking the link on top of the article shows what she really looks like today. The photo on this thread is obviously what she looked like as a Girl Guide thirty years ago.

A few more years, the Brit political caste may have their own Helen Thomas. She's one fugly woman with a face complete with the dead eyes associated with the soul-less Left.
