House Democrats, still searching for a way to pass their healthcare bill before August, are considering bypassing the Energy and Commerce committee altogether, where the bill has stalled, and proceeding right to the floor.
“The preferable course would be to go through the committee,” Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson (D-Conn.) said Thursday night. “But all options will be on the table.”

I called this one 2 days ago. Nancy has done this before. This is what happens to the deliberative process when you have committed ideologues in charge who are pushing an ideology, not what’s best for the country.
I imagine that every elected Dem has been threatened with extinction by Obama....unless they tow the line!!

I just saw Mike Ross so called blue dog of AK interviewed on CNN.
I was totally unimpressed. He assured them that he only wanted to slow the process until the blue dogs were happier with the price tag, mentioning that the CBO needs time to more accurately score the bill. He even credited Obama with being the driving force that will finally end up with a bill after so many years of trying.
Ross predicted a bill will pass this fall after more “savings” are found and the CBO scores it more precisely.
The CNN guys acted all happy at the end because of Ross’s assurances.
Not a single word was said about the takeover of healthcare (and loss of freedom) by the federal government, rationing, seniors, the seriously ill...nothing.
That would be of AR not AK...
They will pass it in the House and get it through the Senate via the reconciliation process.
Let’s just pass a $10 trillion dollar law and fill in the details later....

I predict the Republicans will vote 100% against this bill and they have absolutely nothing to say in the House about how legislation is brought to the floor. Hell, they’re not even allowed to mail information to their constituents about the bill. I understand your cynicism but it has to be tempered with the knowledge that this is a complete total Democrat show.

The bill will certainly pass in the House. It must be killed in the Senate. Have any GOP Senators come out for the bill?
I keep thinking how this program reminds me of another program. You pay into it all of your life, and when you get old you are denied. Sounds much like social security, and just another tax. Obamacare means absence of elderly healthcare, and insurance of death not life. That is what rationing truly means.
