At first I though obie was practicing medicine without a license, but now I realize he is just the first “affirmative action physician” under the new health plan. The one that says med schools will get aid if they have the “right diversity.”
In less than an hour, the Obozo managed to offend doctors, cops, and white people (we’re all racists, you know). What a disgraceful moron.
My son’s physician’s practice procrastinated 3 years before finally agreeing to remove my son’s tonsils after at least a dozen flare-ups of tonsillitis. Their explanation was that the insurance companies didn’t like to see those operations due to cost.
I can't imagine what his numbers will be in 2 days at the end of Gallup's 3-day cycle. 50%?
I had to wait until I was 30 before I finally had mine taken out! I had SEVERE allergies before I did, and mine dropped at LEAST 70% when I finally got em out. It was NOT fun as an adult. A whole Lotta not fun actually. I wish very much that my Dr had taken them out when I was 4 and had my Adenoid tonsils removed!
OholyO doesn’t know a damn thing he is talking about.
I had constant nosebleeds as a child.. When I was 11 my doctor suggested I have my tonsils and adenoids out. I did and Wahlah! No more nosebleeds!
Obama’s statement is hilarous. He is describing the situation under government health care, not private health care. In many countries, physicians must game the system to obtain reasonable reimbursement for services. Typically providers will demand numerous short office visits to increase billing. Obama’s statement was a smear on private practice physicians.
Ok I’m going to be the heartless [male appendage] in the group.
I know a lot of doctors. Almost every single one of them was FOR Obama and cited health care reform as the reason.
So we now have a growing list of targets from the Dems:
big oil - rapes us on energy
big drugs - rapes us on drugs
big finance - rapes us in the markets
big health insurance - rapes us on medical care
big lobbyists - soil our fine gov’t reps
big C-whatever-Os who make too much - rapes every busines
anyone making more than 250k - takes too much of the income pie
now doctors. the people who save lives and do it with the threat of liability for every minor decision.
I foresee a day soon where they will propose that instead of being paid by the procedure/visit, we just give docs a flat fee. I’m serious. That’ll save us money and these nasty, money grubbing, wink-wink [mostly jewish] doctors won’t be able to take little johnnies tonsils out to make an extra buck.
My question is, will they make more than Congressmen? And will they still need liability insurance?
Note who isn’t on the list. Lawyers.
So, doctors rejoice. Will you remember to say “careful what you wish for” to the next group of targets?
Under obamacare, we’d all be living that Seinfeld episode where George goes to the healer and turns green after drinking some concotion.
When I was a kid in the 1960’s, my pediatrician waited until I could no longer hear before he recommended taking out my tonsils. My kid didn't have to go through the hassle, or me through through nights sitting beside his bed listening to him breath, or rather the gaps in his breathing. Oh, we still had to jump through hoops, but decent tort reform would solve that problem.
A tonsilectomy is one procedure which has improved over the years. When my brother and I had ours removed (1950s), we stayed in the hospital for 5 days. Today, these procedures are done outpatient, and the risks are fairly low.
Over the years, many procedures which were once considered major surgery have become much easier thanks to research and advances in medicine. I believe that if ObamaCare goes into effect, all those advances will dry up.
Lets see what they think once theyve got a community organizer with four years of federal policy experience riding herd on them.
I had to have my tonsils and adenoids removed. I kept getting repeated strep throat. I had it at least six times over a span of several months. The doctors kept trying stronger antibiotics, but nothing worked. They said that some people can be “carriers” of strep throat. They said the tonsils had to come out, so I went to the ENT, and he removed my tonsils and adenoids. The surgery was miserable but necessary, and I understand they now can use lasers to do the surgery which wasn’t available 10 years ago when I had it done. It was effective. I stopped getting strep, and I have only had it one time in the 10 years after the surgery.
