I am surprised he is over 50 percent. He still has the approval of those that voted for him...Didn’t 54 percent vote for him? I want his numbers 28 percent approval rate than I will be comfortable that people are pissed. He will always have 25 percent who will never turn on him no matter what.

It is how Gallup polls. They poll adults whereas Rasmussen polls likely voters. I am surprised that he is actually this low in a Gallup poll just 6 months into his term. At this rate, expect mid 40’s my end of the year on Gallup and possibly lower on Rass.
