My prayers are with you. While I’m not sick, just thinking about the future of my family’s health care has brought me to tears too.
It’s disgusting that free people in a free country are being driven to tears, begging their government not to sentence them to death.
I share your sentiments and pray that your wife recovers. It’s beyond politics and is now a struggle for the survival of America as we knew it and as our founding fathers meant it to be.
I too have cancer and this bill has made me cry.
It makes me cry to think that there are many among my fellow Americans who would have me dead to keep their costs down. Hubby and I have worked for over forty years, paid taxes, pay for our medicare {yes there is a sliding scale which nobody knows about till they get there} and our medigap.
And that isn’t enough. They want seniors to just die rather than run up bills. It sickens me, it scares me and makes me wonder what in hell happened to our country.
Tell her if he does get it passed new congress in 2010 will reverse it.

Under Obamacare, your wife will be counseled to end her life rather than face cancer and be a burden on society. Betsy McCaughey, founder of the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths and a former lieutenant governor of New York, is a guest on the Fred Thompson Radio Show and describes the provisions in the Democrats’ health care bill to encourage the elderly and infirm to commit suicide. She also wrote a column for the New York Post that illustrates how the plan eliminates private sector insurance.
This is half a step from Eugenics. It’s immoral and evil. It should frighten every American to the core of his or her being. Obama is trying to rush this legislation through not only because of the costs, but to prevent public awareness of provisions like those McCaughey identifies. It will only be stopped if enough Americans contact their Senators and Congressional Representatives expressing outrage.
BTW, do not count on the media to present the story of the suicide encouragement for the elderly to the public. It must be passed along person to person.
I am in remission from multiple myeloma, but one of the symptoms of the disease is that it destroyed my kidneys. I’m on dialysis twice per week. My husband is looking at clinics in Mexico. The cost is less than a third of what they charge in the US.
