Here’s Mike Castle, a Republican congressman from Delaware, trying to deal with the birther nonsense at a town hall meeting back on June 30. It really gets a little spooky when the woman hijacks the meeting with an impromptu demand for the Pledge of Allegiance. It’s hard to imagine a more vivid example of how easily false patriotism can trump reason and common sense.
Apparently, CNN’s Lou Dobbs — always on the lookout these days for a fringe issue to ride — is also jumping on the bandwagon.

3. I think the left is protesting this one a bit too much. If anything this should be a problem for Obama since he has never produced his birth certificate.

Your comment says more about your lack of knowledge on the subject than it does about anyone else...
I told the GOP people who called not to ask me for any more money until such time as they had the guts to ask the questions and demand the answers on the birth certificate issue. Maybe there are others like me? Enough of us not giving funds and maybe the GOP will get the idea.
