Here's a novel idea, actually run Candidates people want to vote for rather than going with the RINO mantra of "vote for the lesser of two evils" so Democrats won't get elected.

You know the process that selected our candidate included democratic voters, right? You understand how the primaries work, right? Not many of us had a choice by the time the democrats had slammed McCain down our throats in the early primaries.

And none of you are answering my question...would we be in this sinking ship if McCain were president today? Would we be frantically and desperately clinging to our Republic as we are now. Would we even be discussing socialized health care and climate control energy taxes? IIRC, McCain's plans on these issues were quite conservative.

So, unless you can prove your principled plan of "I won't vote for anyone unless he's truly 100% conservative" has worked out well for you in this election, you need to reevaluate your principles. They're not working out well for any of us.

How different do you really think things would be with McCain in? He supports TARP, he supports the GM bailout, he supported the “stimulus”, and he’s a long standing enemy of the 1st Amendment.

It’s not a matter of not voting for someone who isn’t 100% true conservative. It’s a matter of not voting for someone who sucks. McCain is no good. He’s a lousy senator and he would have made a lousy president.

Never said I needed a 100% Conservative, I'm just not voting for a 10% Conservative because he/she happens to have an "R" after his/her name. If that's how you wish to roll be my guest, I'm just not going down that road ever again.

Remember "McInsane" halted his campaign to run to Washington to hand out Bailout Bucks. I Held my nose to vote for him and its the last time that will ever happen.

BTW "Mitt ain't itt!" (No matter how many polls the RINOS produce saying he is running neck and neck with Barry Hussein.) BTW McAmnesty lost Ohio for one reason and one reason only, that useless Liberal RINO Governor Taft and his whole dirty cabal of thieves and Politiclowns that destroyed the Ohio G.O.P.

Dude, things are working out perfectly, exactly as I and many many others figured they would.

First off McCain would have done just about everything Obama's done anyway, but then Republicans would have been blamed instead of Democrats. Now Republican have a chance to get there act back together.

McCain was already on board for a bailout. McCain would not have let GM and Chrysler go bust. McCain believes in Global warming so he'd have done something there too. He's pro amnesty. Not sure if he'd be up for socialized health care but he's a big government guy so it would not surprise me.

Personally I don't see much that Obama's doing that McCain would not have done too. So yea, I am very happy that I did not vote for either one. And if the GOP nominates another McCain I'll sit the next one out too.
