The ATF - as expected - has issued a letter in which it disregards the 10th Amendment restrictions on federal power (as seems to be the trend since the late 1930) and has notified Tennessees federal firearms dealers that the Tennessee Firearms Freedom Act is meaningless. Essentially, ATF is saying to the state of Tennessee that the 10th Amendment no longer exists.
We expected such from a tyranny that no longer lives within the bounds of its express authority

I hope that Tennessee will sand a fully suited Swat Team over to their local BATF offices to deliver a response letter and get a signature receipt. The contents of the letter need only official names sender and sendee, letterhead, date and official seal. It need only be a short letter, dryly and succinctly stating Tennessee’s authority.

“People forget State’s Rights effectively ended when Woodrow Wilson rammed through the direct election of Senators.”
Ever heard of a little thing called the Civil War?
The Wilson Administration forever altered that.
Best regards,
I havent read the rest of the thread yet, so this may be redundant, but I had to point out that it wasn't the ATF that murdered 90+ folks in Waco. That was an FBI operation. (I'll concede that the ATF may well have been consulted on how to make sure the firestorm would best be accelerated because of their knowledge of arson.) However, the ATFs main role in that exercise of government sponsored mass-murder was largely limited to having their asses handed to them by the inhabitants of the building they were attempting to storm whilst firing into it indiscriminately dispite the fact that relatively few shots were actually fired by the Branch Davidians attempting to defend themselves. The Davidians allowed the ATF agents to retreat from the scene under a flag of truce after the bumbling fools from the government ran out of ammo.
I don't know that I would have allowed that were I in their place and had been subject to an illegal and unprooked attack.
BFL. I need to reread that ruling.
ATF drew first blood. Thanks for making my point.
