The ATF - as expected - has issued a letter in which it disregards the 10th Amendment restrictions on federal power (as seems to be the trend since the late 1930) and has notified Tennessee’s federal firearms dealers that the Tennessee Firearms Freedom Act is meaningless. Essentially, ATF is saying to the state of Tennessee that the 10th Amendment no longer exists.
We expected such from a tyranny that no longer lives within the bounds of its express authority…

I DO take issue with the broad brush by which you refer to Foxtrots..

Not so for practical purposes. In FDR's day the SCOTUS found that a farmer growing wheat, for his own consumption on his own farm, and the farm was totally enclosed within one state, was interstate commerce. This was done to advance the authority of the federal government in support of the new deal. The courts are corrupt and co-opted by the radical left. They are the hammer with which the destruction of the United States was effected. Presently, the constitution of the United States no longer applies to it's government and the power of the government is essentially unlimited. Even the free election process has been destroyed by leftist voter fraud. The restoration of constitutional limits upon the federal government will not be accomplished by the courts and is very unlikely to be accomplished by the ballot box. IMHO, unless we are incredibly lucky, for those of us on FR our choices will devolve to slavery or insurrection.

Was not the BATF. BATFE is not the only rogue government agency. Of course they are no longer rogue, but an integral part of the agenda of The Messiah.
This won’t stand long here...we Tennesseans don’t take kindly to the Feds dictating our laws. We will see what happens, but it won’t be pretty.
A lot of the early Texicans were from Tennessee. Including Sam Houston, the "Big Drunk" his ownself, who served as Governor of Tennesse, commander-in-chief of the armies of Texas, President of the Republic of Texas, US Senator from Texas and Governor of the State of Texas.
Another bunch of Tennesseans came to the defense of Texas, under the leadership of one David Crocket, former CongressCritter from Tennessee.
It's no accident that the University of Tennessee and the University of Texas both have Orange as their school color. It's just that it's Hotter 'n Hell (especially the last couple of weeks) in Texas so the University of Texas' Orange is Burnt. :)
Tennesssee should secede from the Union.

No offense intended there LLMF... It was the only way I knew to make my point regarding my feelings toward the BATFE. When we had a messed up situation in the theatre of operations, we would call it a “cluster &@/;” face-to-face, but it was a “Charlie Foxtrot” over the radio!! -Raven6
But the 10th amendment overrides, or at least clarifies, that Article 6 does not give the federal government any particular powers over the states. Federal laws must be within the powers granted to the federal government, and are enforceable within the states, regardless of state laws.
But to for all that to mean anything, the Interstate Commerce Clause must be interpreted such that commerce means the buying, selling and shipping of goods across state lines. Not every little thing that might affect such commerce. Otherwise its an unlimited grant of power to the federal government, and the 10th amendment is meaningless and one basic principal of Constitutional interpretation is that none of it is meaningless. Some of it may be informative rather than actionable, such as the preamble to the Second Amendment's protection of the right of the people.
