A real AK-47 is fully automatic and requires filling out the forms for that type weapon then a background investigation by the Treasury dept.
A semi-auto look-alike or an SKS are simply long guns and require no special paperwork unless you live in one of those areas in which they are mis labeled as assault rifles.
I’m guessing ignorant. :)
Now that would be a GREAT promotion too! Hahaha
I was being a bit sarcastic about the spelling/fudging from USA Today.
I have a Barretta myself.
I have a 9mm Browning Hi-Power for the rare occasions that I’m going somewhere that I think there’s a real likelihood of needing to shoot someone to defend myself. And a snub-nosed Taurus .38 special with a laser pointer for my bedside gun — precious little accuracy with the ultra-short barrel, and dreadful for target practice, but perfect for close-range in-home dark-of-night use.
Yep, sounds like the P32 I handled. Long, long trigger pull but that’s the safety! Nice weapon though and inexpensive! Jogging with fire power is a great idea though, a little stun gun for the dogs would be nice also as you don’t want to shoot fido.
In the video he said background check. He didn't mention a CCW.
The KelTecs have a super long trigger pull, but if she was having trouble sliding it, replacing the slide spring with a lighter one would likely have solved the problem.
True story: A few years back, I was in a gun store looking at a nice 9mm Browning Hi-Power (which I ultimately bought). Salesman took it out from the glass counter display case, and I (a small woman) attempted to pull back the slide. Just wasn’t happening, unless I contorted myself into a position that wouldn’t have been safe with a loaded gun, so I told him I didn’t think this gun would work out for me. The salesman (a big strong fellow) gave me a mildly condescending smile, took the gun and was fixing to show me how easily he could pull back the slide. Oops, he had a terrible time of it too. That’s when he offered to order a lighter spring for it. I came back a week later and the new spring was installed, and it was quite easy to slide back. It’s an awesome gun — just needed a $7 replacement spring.
I have no idea why some guns come with these super tight springs in the slide. It can make sense to have a tight spring for the trigger, for people who have small children around and want the gun to be inoperable by a preschooler. But not for the slide.
If you have an AK why conceal it? Even with a folding stock it’s not exactly going to fit in your wife’s purse.
You havent seen my wife’s purse.
“In the video he said background check. He didn’t mention a CCW.”
Well, that’s about the 4th or 5th *error* by USA Today in this one article.
Gotta think they’re doing it on purpose.
Most journalists are lazy morons so all the errors don’t surprise me.
Actually this article is from Fox News not USA Today. I found the article originally on USA Today but could not post it due to copyright complaints, so I found a similar article on Fox, but forgot to change the source. I contacted the admin mod to fix it. The link does go to the Fox story.
Perhaps on a trailer. I have a BFR revolver in 45-70 with the extra long cylinder to accommodate the 500 gr bullets. It takes a small rifle case to hold it. The barrel is 10". Not a CCW oriented firearm.
They should offer ammo since guns are now plentiful once again.
But either way, that is a sweet deal!
That was awesome! He never let that idiot lib get the upper hand. We are going to buy a truck next month, thankfully Max Motors is close enough we can shop there.
Excellent video! this guy is a dealer I would buy a vehicle from..............gun offer or no gun
They jam and have no power?
My Dreamboat, Larry Kudlow, of CNBC had him on! It was GREAT!!
They have NO FIREARMS ALLOWED signs.
