Outside of pillow talk, Laura Bush didn't present herself as someone who seeks power. She was a traditional First Lady who rarely made a mistake.
The only gaffe I can think of is that she said wouldn't it be nice if Dubya would appoint a woman to the Supreme Court.
It ain't supposed to be about color or sex, the current problem that we have, that Sotomayer should be appointed because she's a "Wise Latina Woman".

On the other hand, who the heck would be enticed? She has no fashion sense, she has no grace and walks like a giraffe. Her clothes and color combinations are hideous, and her shape (though she can't help it) is certainly not appealing. Of Course...That is why she is stuck with Obama in the first place!
