NEW YORK – A New York City teenager has admitted that she failed to let a kitten out of an oven after a friend put the animal inside and left it to roast to death.
After pleading guilty to charges of animal cruelty and attempted burglary on Wednesday, 17-year-old Cheyenne Cherry confronted a row of animal activists outside the courtroom. Cherry stuck out her tongue and told the activists that the kitten named Tiger Lily was "dead."

I agree. The incident was sick, but her attitude about it is far sicker. She seems like a sociopath to me and, sadly, I’d be surprised if she lives out her life without murdering one or more human beings.
Personally, I think she ought to get some OVEN time, so she can understand a little of what the kitten had to go through.
yes, but so are the judges who let her get away with her sick behavior. She should have been locked up until she turned twenty one after the first of her crimes. The judges that allowed her to continue to terrorize society are responsible for her crimes.

To my knowledge, this is the only unpleasant animal-related thread I’ve posted in my years here. I only posted this because this girl is a menace and potential serial killer, who’s getting off far too lightly for the things she has done in life. I think it’s important that people know when the justice system is failing them.
I am sorry if the story offended you, though. I’m a pet owner myself, and can’t imagine what I’d do if someone tried to hurt my dog or one of my cats.
