The political action committee associated with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, SarahPAC, reported strong support from small donors in its mid-year report.
SarahPAC reported $733,000 in total receipts through June 30, of which $420,000 was unitemized or from donors who contributed $200 or less.
. . . . .
Only two candidates received contributions from SarahPAC through June 30: Palins former running mate, John McCain, received $5,000; and Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski received $5,000.

Let Sarah play the game.
It would not look very graceful for her to come out against McCain.
Murkowski has also stabbed Sarah in the back. “$5k and go away” makes some sense, sometimes.
A marker of sorts is put down, for the sake of politics, but it could be “damning with light praise” in a way.

Exactly, but that won’t stop the Sarah haters from coming out swinging.
(Oh! But they are soooo much more conservative than you, or even God!)

"Probably more like hush money.LOL! Yeah, sometimes, poor old McCain gets a bad case of foot-in-mouth. He should just retire and go away. He needs a nice long rest.

***************screeeeeeeeching tires********************* That does it for me. I will not be donating a dime to the PAC. I also better not hear that she needs help paying those legal fee's... if you give the money to someone else, especially RINO's, don't ask me to donate.

From what others have been speculating, she might have been reimbursing the money back to McCain that he donated to her Pac at the beginning. Also, I don’t think Sarah will endorse McCain, I think the best move for her is to stay out of it, and if asked, say “I think both candidates are equally qualified, let the people of Arizona decide who is the best one to serve them”
To: Dan Middleton
I thought it was for the legal bills or for helping elect conservatives. I’ll refrain from sending a cent until she starts a campaign that I can donate to.

Posted and pinged it already before.
I don't know what the fuss is about her giving 5 grands to McCain. Yes we all (most at least here) dislike him. But he picked her for Veep, and she won't be showing ingratitude or dishonor him.
That's one thing Sarah will not tread on. I have no problem with that.

"or for helping elect conservatives."Giving them money is one good way to do that.
Seriously, I understand your beef with her donating to McCain, but...spreading cash around is a huge part of what PACs do.
