Never even saw the Malia thread. Did we really say these things?

Wondering if the Gawker was disgusted at what was said about Sarah’s family?

To begin, the quotes are incomplete and mostly out of context. I saw the thread, and what I read and understood was that she (Malia) looks LIKE a street whore. I didn't see Malia being called a street whore. The young man with her was said to look like a thug/pimp/dealer/gangster/whatever. Look at the picture. He does look like a pimp or a thug. Deal with it. Look at the picture of Mrs 0bama. She's making a face that looks like anyone making monkey sounds. All this so called “racist” stuff is only racist if you want it to be racist. In other words, it's PC leftists finding boogeymen where they want to find them. It's Alinsky BS, and should be called such.

As to the appropriateness of scorning the President's kids, in my opinion, it is not appropriate.

I posted on it. I thought that the tee shirt was inappropriate for the occasion. No problem with the kid, mom should have known better. Some had a problem that dated to the 60’s Hippie/vet conflict. A few were stupid rude posts that were taken care of, and some of those may have been planted.

We? I never saw them and never made them, did you? Are you willing to identify with such comments if they were made? I’m certainly not. Making disparaging remarks about any innocent child is over the line. Criticize the Obama insane policies all you want, but the personal attacks and photoshopped disgusting photos that have been posted are no better than Chris Parry and the pravda media. I have never joined the threads with the bashing of Michelle Obama, etc. and many of them were just plain disgusting. I’ve tried to ignore it, but it looks like the rest of the media isn’t.
For ignoring it, I am sorry that I didn’t speak up.

FR has shot itself and conservatism in the foot allowing it to go on.

A few of us are here because this is the only place to get IMPORTANT information out on IMPORTANT issues. But those threads get little attention, while good ‘republicans’ hit the gossip threads by the thousands. We have become a petty, ignorant society...on the left and right.

What any of us think of the Obama’s personally is not IMPORTANT and it is childish and un-American. The Mormon witchhunt is equally disgusting. And the daily charge of ‘racist’ by some of FR’s ‘finest’ calling anyone who wants to stop illegal immigration is dishonest and dangerous and goes on every day for YEARS. The GOP is dead and it is stinking to high heaven, with too much help from too many on this forum. Perhaps this is why Sarah Palin is so disgusted in the ‘status quo’.

Time for a long break from the internet, it’s as insane as CBS/NBC/ABC. Oh, my, what could have been. Sad.
