Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) discusses reports of a Cheney "assassination ring," torture, Sarah Palin and President Obama on "Meet the Press." McCain said he was surprised but not "shocked" that she resigned. McCain says he is "confident" she will be a major factor on the national political scene.
"She will be an effective player on the national stage," McCain said. "I have never seen sustained personal, family attacks that were made on Sarah Palin and her family that were made in my life," he concluded.
"She did a great job as my running mate," Sen. John McCain said of Palin.

He’s just trying to trick Palinites into voting for him with this lame backtrack of his.
He’ll say and do anything to keep his seat.

Did anyone else want to smack that idiot David Gregory across the face. His head is so far up Obama’s ass he can’t see the forest through the trees. I bet he thinks Joe Biden is a genius
To: ianschwartz
Well, if nothing else I’m thankful to McCain for introducing us to Palin, I wouldn’t have really known her otherwise. That was a valuable service to the nation. Secondly this crap with congress and the CIA and trying to demonize Cheney is just sickening!!!! I really hate what politics is.

Maybe he’s starting to see on which side his bread is REALLY buttered...
or maybe he’s just pretending to like Sarah and will backstab as soon as he can.

AWESOME PIC. Thanks so much for posting!!

McRino praised Sarah Palin even with all the ugly questions that were asked about Sarah. McRino stuck with very positive answers regarding Sarah. Good for McRino.

McCain introduced the nation to Sarah Palin. Thank him for that and for his service to our country.

FU McCain. You are finally unmasked as the true ‘Irrelevant’ you have always been.
Please, just go away and take the others like you with you into well deserved obscurity. (About 50% of the Republican Party by my guesstimate)

The old fart backstabber is in self-protection mode now that she is unbound by any office or party loyalty to keep quiet.
Phase two will be distancing himself from his toadies and lackeys who spent way too much time and energy trashing her.
